I pick up my bags and went down stairs where i catch my dada having his breakfast.
"Oh going somewhere?" I approach him and put a peck of kiss on his checks.
"Yes dada, late na kasi ako nakauwi kagabi. Mukhang tulog ka na kaya di na ako nakapagpaalam" i sit next to him and pick a hotdog with a fork.
"So where are you going?"
"My friend marco have this vacation house in baguio, so he suggested to spend our sembreak there. Two days and a night lang naman dada"
"Well as long as you take good care of self" he pointed his fork at me. Hindi ganon ka protective si dada sa akin. He let me explore. His showing bhow how he put his huge trust on me na hinding hindi ko babaliin.
After few minutes a honk of a car was heard outside. "That's them na dada, I'll go na" i grab my bags, kiss his forehead and zoom out.
"Take care" he shouted.
I opened the gate, where a red toyata awaits. Dumeritso na ako sa likod para ilagay ang mga bag ko sa compartment nito and went to my designated sit at the back with rosell.
"Yun oh" marco greeted me with a fist bump.
"Marga"
"Rosell"
We make biso left and right, the warm welcome was much appreciated, accept the driver who's been treating me like an air.
We started the long drive with excitement written on our faces. "Did you bring some snacks?" I asked them.
"Yun lang wala" marco laughed.
"Daan muna tayo sa grocery ng may manguya naman tayo"
"Amazing idea sis" rosell second the motion which answered only by masons cold nod. The car stop in front of the grocery store.
"Kami nalang ang bibili ni rosell, may ipapabili kayo?"
"Kahit anong food sakin basta wag nyong kalimutan yung royal ko" marco requested.
"Ikaw pre?" He ask mason.
"Kahit ano na rin"
Pumasok na kami ni rosell sa loob ng grocery. We grab some cornics, oishi, richee and different kinds of pangtawid gutom.
"What's with mason ba?" Rosell curiosity kicks in. "Parang wala sya sa mood".
"Baka may PMS lang" I answered while grabbing some drinks. Rosell let out a half hearted laugh.
"Baka nga". Soon as we finished paying everything in the counter we went back to the car.
"Now, we're good to go" i clap my hands like a kid.
We finally hit the road "ang boring naman pasound ka naman oh" bagot na sambit ni rosell.
"Teka lang may F.M. ba to pre?" Marco ask mason. Mason immediately turn the radio on, and out of luck overdrive by eraserheads started playing.
"Alam mo, meron akong pangarap sa buhay

Magda-drive ako hanggang Baguio
Magda-drive ako hanggang Bicol

Tapos magsu-swimming dun sa beach" marco started singing in tune.
