I finished putting my clothes into the drawers in my small room at Reagan's house when Jase came running into the room. He had a red cape attached around his neck and a blue Super Man shirt was covering his black sweat pants. His light brown hair was spiked and he yelled when he ran into the room.

"Dahl-yuh! Help!" he screamed as he jumped onto the bed beside me. I plopped down onto the bed beneath me and faced him.

"Jase, what's going on?" I asked.

"Abi is derrrr," he said as he pointed out the door. I could see her curls peeking around the corner of the door. He had a thick lisp and even though he was able to make out sentences pretty good, they were still pretty difficult to understand. But he still made me laugh, anyways.

"Jase, listen, I thought you were Super Man. Super man isn't afraid of anything," I told him. His eyes grew really large as he contemplated my words.

As soon as I said that, Abigail came running into the room. Her shrill, high pitched laughter pierced the air as she ran toward him and jumped up onto the bed. I quickly got off of the bed, even though it was very difficult to do with my stomach protruding so far, and got into the corner.

"I'm Super Mannnnn," Jase squeeled as Abigail tried to jump on him.

"Well I am very mad at you Jase. You took my Kapri-Sun!" she said as she grabbed his ankles and made him fall onto the bed. She looked to be a few inches taller than him and he looked very fragile next to her.

"What's going on?" Reagan said as she walked into the room with Katie in her arms. She looked at the kids for a few seconds before sighing. "Y'all stop!"

They both stopped and sat down on the bed.

"Jase took my Kapri-Sun, Mommy!" Abigail told Reagan as Reagan walked closer to them.

"I'm sorry that he did that, but I can fix you another drink. We don't fight because if we fight we could hurt each other!" Reagan said. Jase began crying and Abigail walked onto the bed over to Reagan and hugged her. Reagan hugged her back and then Jase followed also. I walked out of the room and grabbed a water bottle from the refrigerator. The stove went off and I used the oven mitt to pull the casserole from the oven. Reagan made it while I played with her kids. It was a Wednesday night and I still had a test to study for. Since I moved into Reagan's house, I hadn't had much quiet to study in, but my grades hadn't slipped. I was now two months from graduation and everything seemed to be moving into overdrive.

"Maybe one day they will get along," Reagan sighed as she walked into the room. She looked tired, but I knew that she wasn't going to admit to it. Ellie and Becca were now her babysitters on Saturday afternoons while we worked. The store hours had been shifted so that the store was now closed on Wednesdays and Sundays because of church. Reagan and her family weren't going anywhere yet because they haven't had time to visit anywhere. I didn't know what to advise her because I knew nothing about the churches in Amory, but I could see that it was bothering her. I had only been around Reagan for a short amount of time, but I could see that she was a very good Christian. Her faith was real, and I liked that. I still just knew that I couldn't ever have that, either. For right now, I was surrounded by very strong Christian people, but I could never be like them. Not when I have allowed the things that have happened to me to happen.

"I think I am about to go to Becca's house to study for our government test tomorrow," I said. She looked at me apologetically.

"I am so sorry. I know that it is crazy around here, so you can go study with Becca. It's probably quieter there." Reagan said. I laughed.
