Jay: Someone is making moves across the west coast, striking fear, killing people, offsetting everything. Whoever it is has caught the attention of the Justice League. Jason: So what does this have to do with me? Jay: We've been watching you since you took Javier down, consider this your audition kid.
Later Jason and Jay are on a helicopter
Jay: This mission is taking you to California. Whoever is doing this is no joke so try to lay low. Jason: Am i going alone? Jay: No, you're going with Dick Grayson, I trust you two know each other.
The helicopter lands and Jason gets off and gets more information from Dick Grayson once they get into a hideout
Dick: I'm sure you heard. Jason: Yeah, whoever this guy is must be pretty dangerous if they're able to get the attention of the The Justice League. Dick: It's not just one person. Jason this person is doing a lot of damage, he's destroying cities, killing a lot of people, so we think its probably a group of them. Jason: So they're sending only you and me to fight an army? Dick: No, we're only here to do recon until we find out what we're dealing with.
Dick Grayson lays down a graph
Dick: We were able to figure out their attack patterns. Jason: And what is that? Dick: It's simple, they don't. Jason: Oh come on Dick, take this seriously! Dick: These people are unpredictable but they've been making their way down here and they should be here soon and when they do, we'll be there. Jason: Okay, so now what? Dick: The person's M.O. is to attack the warehouses and downtown so we think they might be getting resources for something big, so first things first.
Dick gets cut off by an explosion in the city
Jason: What the hell was that?
Dick goes to turn on his radio scanner
Dispatcher: We have multiple reports of an explosion of unknown origin in downtown, multiple people injured, unknown numbers of deaths. Dick: Shit, sounds like our guy lets go.
The Raven and Nightwing arrive and see havoc everywhere
The Raven: Shit, this isn't good. Nightwing: We need to find this guy quick.
The Raven and Nightwing drive back to the hideout
Dick: So we know they're here. Jason: So what's the plan, do we wait at the warehouse, see if they head there? Dick: They strike at night so I guess we have quite the day.....
Later at night at the warehouse Nightwing and The Raven are on the roof overlooking the area
The Raven: Anything look out of the ordinary? Nightwing: No not yet. The Raven: So if I pass this test I become a member of the Justice League? Nightwing: Now that ain't for me to decide but, probably. The Raven: Cool. Nightwing: Cool. The Raven:.... So how'd Jake get in? Nightwing: Well.... bad decisions and a lot of regret. The Raven:...... Shit.
The night silence is cut off by screaming and yelling
The Raven and Nightwing go but stay in the shadows
Nightwing: Wait! We don't know how many there are.
The Raven goes up to an injured person on the floor
The Raven: Who did this? Worker: I don't know, they came fast. The Raven: They? Nightwing: So it is more than one person right? Worker: They killed almost everyone. The Raven: How many were there? Worker: I don't know. The Raven:... Get help.
The worker starts levitating and starts choking and flies back into a lightsaber
The Raven: Whoa, who are you? Nightwing: Raul! Azrael's younger brother. Raul: You know my name, now you will die where you stand.
Raul throws his lightsaber at Nightwing and The Raven
The Raven and Nightwing flip over the saber
The Raven, Nightwing and Raul start fighting
Raul is swinging his lightsaber as Nightwing and The Raven dodge in close calls
The Raven: Any ideas? Nightwing: Yeah, just one!
Nightwing throws a flashing light and wing ding immediately after, striking Raul in the head
Jason punches Raul knocking him out
The Raven: What is he doing here? Nightwing: Nothing good.
The Raven and Nightwing are interrupted by Azrael walking into the room
Nightwing: Ah shit, what the fuck? Azrael.... Azrael: Ah.. look who we have here, Nightwing. Nightwing: You're supposed to be dead. Azrael: I'm afraid reports of my death....
Azrael ignites his lightsaber
Azrael: Have been greatly exaggerated. The Raven: Shit! Nightwing: Down!
Azrael throws his lightsaber getting Nightwing in the cheek
Nightwing: Agh! Damn!
The lightsaber comes back around getting Jason in the back cutting him in the shoulder
Azrael: Pathetic! You can't even put up a proper fight.
Azrael and Nightwing start fighting
The fight is tense as Azrael and Nightwing move in almost a blur because of how fast they're moving with neither man being able to get a hit on each other
Azrael force chokes Nightwing
Azrael: Fool! You should have never come here!
Azrael lifts Nightwing high and slams him hard on the floor
Azrael looks at him
Azrael: Raul we're done here! Let's go.
After Azrael and Raul leave, Jason goes to Nightwing
The Raven: Dick, hey!
Nightwing doesn't respond
The Raven: Grayson!
