Chapter XX - Menace

Jake is being rushed to the medical wing of the Hall of Justice

Dick: What happened? Supergirl: Something went wrong on the mission, the anomaly we picked up was a pillar, he touched it and something weird happened to him. J'onn: His mind is showing abnormally high levels of activity, when I went inside his mind to figure out what was going on there was nothing but flashes of death. Dick: What does that mean? Is he dying? J'onn: We don't know yet, but that's what we're going to find out!

In Deacon City at a club, multiple Black Mask thugs and major players of  Black Mask's gang are partying when a loud commotion erupts at the entrance

All members look up at the balcony where the sound is coming from and see a Black Mask thug falling through a glass railing and Oscar appears

Black Mask Thug: It's The Shadow! Kill him!

Black Mask thugs start firing at Oscar and he runs and jumps off the balcony throwing knives at 2 Black Mask thugs and kills them

A Black Mask thug tries shooting Oscar point blank gets his hand grabbed and misses and punched in the throat and then throws a knife at another thug

Oscar moves around the room and kills more and more thugs and moves further inside the building to where the higher ups are

As he moves up, he evades a thug trying to blindside him

Meanwhile inside, multiple Black Mask lieutenants have their guns pointed at the door waiting for Oscar to enter

The door gets busted down and a figure moves through and gets gunned down but it's another Black Mask thug

Soon after, Oscar busts in and starts taking down the lieutenants with knives and hand to hand techniques and uses a lieutenant as a meat shield while someone tries shooting him

He knocks down the final surviving lieutenant down 

Black Mask Lieutenant: Please man, what is it you want? Money, drugs?

Oscar takes out a knife

Black Mask Lieutenant: Please man!

Oscar kills him

Later police and agents arrive as well as Jason

Bradley: These are all members of Black Mask's gang. They were all killed with lacerations to their throats and bodies, some of them have knives in their throats as well. The Raven: Whoever did this must've been very skilled. Bradley: Yeah.. any idea who?

Jason stays silent

Ricky: (Over Radio) Bradley we have a situation in the main office. Bradley: Copy that, on my way. Let's go.

Jason and Bradley arrive and see the onslaught of bodies

Bradley: Shit, and I thought the outside was bad. Ricky: We ran an I.D. check on most of the bodies here. Bradley: And what did you find? Ricky: Their all classified as lieutenants in Black Mask's gang. Bradley: So I take it this isn't a coincidence. Alexis: Nope, whoever did this was deliberate in their attack. They left no survivors but the civilians who were present were left unharmed. Bradley: It could be The Dragon. The Raven: No, he's not even in town. Bradley: No? The Raven: He's off with the Justice League on some mission. Ricky: Cool... Bradley: What about that new guy, Archer? Ricky: There's a new guy? The Raven: He's gone. Bradley: Another new guy? What is it about this city that attracts vigilantes.
