Agent 14:

You only get called into Dan's office for something serious.

Normally he just sends us a file and that's it.

But no.

I wish we were in trouble but instead he wants to put a new agent in charge of our team.

Are you kidding me?

Maybe they are good, they must be to be put on our team, but we need time to get to know their strengths and their weaknesses.

Also Mark is a good leader, why do we need a new one?

He knows us and our skills more then some random agent who we don't know.

This could go so wrong.

Who ever this agent is, they will probably just slow us down. I mean trying to catch them up and get to know them will take time.

Amir and Sarah were already chatting about who it could be the whole way back.

I honestly can't deal with anymore conspiracy theories today.

"Well they must be really good to be put on our team." Sarah was getting really into it now.

"Well duh we are the best." Amir's cockiness annoyed me sometimes, like yeah we are good but his ego doesn't need to be any bigger.

"What if it's one of the 4?" Sarah said back jumping around like little kid.

"They aren't real and if they were they are probably dead!" Amir said back.

Mark was walking ahead, probably tuning out their conversation.

"Of course they are real. I mean they have to be. Do you think they just skipped out 1, 2, 3, 4?.... Stupid."

"Yeah but they aren't these super cool action heros you make them out to be. Like I said before they are probably dead." Amir shrugged.

"Actually only 3 of them are dead." Surprisingly it's Mark's voice I heard. "Agent 4 died on a training mission quite early on. 1 and 2 were killed on a mission about 2 years ago. Agent 3 is still alive. But they work alone."

I always forget how long Mark has been here.

When you're given a number it is based off the order in which you joined, so like I was the 14th person to join. Mark was only the 7th.

The reason the numbers are so low is because we are new types of agents. They have older agents who have letters but their training was different and they volunteered.

All of the new agents however are chosen or offered by parents, when they are no older then 13 and no younger then 11, and are moved to IPS and trained until they are ready to become agents.

The rumour is, that when IPS started the new program four kids were brought in at very young ages and started training.

Their training was ran by Dan, himself.

Which must have been terrifying.

That man can scare fully grown men with a look, imagine that with kids.

"How the hell do you know so much?" Sarah shouted up to Mark. Me and Amir watched Mark waiting for an answer.

"I have been here a long time. I may not have met them personally but I saw them plenty of times. Scary bunch I'll tell you that. They were a few years younger then me and they were going on missions whilst I was still training. Very skilled but kept to themselves the rest of us only saw them every now and then. Dan never trained them in the main training room with us, it was always separately. Agents 1, 2 and 3 were related I think. Not people you wanted to mess with, like under any circumstances. One kid thought it would be a good idea to try and pick a fight with agent 1, well I think it was 1 anyway, let's just say it didn't end well." Mark chuckled to himself.
