Ace:

I sat by her bed waiting for her to wake up for 4 days. The others popped round to see if anything had changed occasionally but they had to go back to the house incase anything happened.

I had agreed to stay with her.

She spoke in her sleep.

A lot.

It raised a lot of questions.

What the hell happened to this girl?

Most of it was inaudible yells.

One thing she said that really caught my attention, she was begging with someone to stop doing something.

Begging them to not kill them and to kill her, I'm assuming Agents 1 and 2.

She called them by name like she knew them personally.

Adrian.

She even used a nickname.

Ade.

I had checked the files and there was no Adrian in the Vengaza files.

Maybe it was something else?

But who had been waiting for her?

Agent 1's words had been playing in my head since we left the warehouse.

'You know he can't wait to see you."

The look of pure terror on her face was like nothing I'd ever seen on her before.

I had seen her with a gun held in her face, she was about to die, and her face remained stoic. In many other situations that were quite scary she looked completely unfazed but whoever this guy was, scared her more then death.

Scared her more then her dead brother coming back to life to kill her.

What was scaring her this much? Or a better question who?

I just couldn't believe her brother would turn on her. I mean he was her brother how could you ever turn on family?

His sister died and his other was tortured because of him.

How could he live with himself?

The anger within me rose.

I wanted to kill him. Everytime I looked at Three's bruised face and hurt body it made me want to hunt him down and kill him.

I jumped, pulled out of my thoughts by a hand on my shoulder.

Mark.

"You alright?" He asked, he was alone. He pulled up a chair, sitting down and tossed me a sandwich. "I got you cheese. I know you don't like ham." He smiled.

"Thanks." I nodded as I started to eat.

I hadn't realised I was so hungry.

"She is going to be very hard to handle, you know?" He nodded in Three's direction.

"Wh..what do you mean?"

What the hell was he on about?

"Don't play dumb, I have seen the way you look at her and how hurt you look everytime you sit here watching her." He paused looking over at her. "I don't know what happened to her, but whatever it was, it was bad and there is stuff she isn't telling us. But she needs someone there for her at the moment. Try getting to know her, gain her trust. For christ sake she just found out her dead brother is alive and a traitor, the last thing she needs is to be alone. But... Ace your main focus has to be on the mission." He gave me a smile.
