Three:
"You're a good person." Ace's words left my heart dancing around my chest.
How pathetic.
I let him break down my walls, I gave in to those stupid feelings.
The team, Ace and this mission I didn't know if I could deal with it all.
I had turned on my side to get more comfortable his hand still holding mine.
It gave some comfort but I knew deep down how things can turn out.
This could go so wrong.
My thoughts always ran back to him, even though I knew that Ace wasn't like that, but how could I let anyone that close to me again?
Why was Ace asking me about him?
How was I supposed to explain when I hadn't even said his name in years?
Could I even kill him?
I wanted to rip him apart for what he did. But can I?
Ace was different. This wasn't a bad thing.
I hoped that I was right.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~"Unless you are physically restraining me, which I wouldn't recommend for your sake, then I am walking out of that door right now!" I yelled at Mark pointing my finger in his face.
I had been in that stupid hospital room for 5 days.
Why did I need to be there for that long?
The doctors had done everything I was just healing! I could do that back at the house!
"Don't test me Three! If you try to leave I will have the nurses knock you out! Then I'll...I'll.." He yelled back stuttering at the end.
"You'll what?" I hissed at him viciously.
"I will handcuff you to the hospital bed so you 'physically' can't leave." He mimicked my voice and crossed his arms over his chest in triumph.
Ha, yeah you wish Mark.
"For yours and the nurses sake I suggest you don't try that. Don't think for a second I won't knock any nurse that comes at me with a needle on their ass, or you for that matter." I glared at him as I swung my legs off the bed.
Amir and Sarah were howling with laughter and Ace had an amused smile across his face.
"You wouldn't actually hit a nurse!?" Mark yelled back at me.
"Try me!" I carried on putting my boots on. My knee was fine after it was clicked back into place, the cut had been stitched up. And my ribs were pretty much healed.
Even though it still hurt to breath.
Apart from a few cuts and bruises I was completely fine.
"I can't believe you. Just let yourself heal!" Mark shook his head in anger. "Where are you even going?"
"To see Dean." I said plainly standing up and walking over to Mark who was still stood in front of the door.
He looked like he was about to pass out he had gone so red.
"Are you crazy? Like have you actually lost your mind?" He was basically screeching at this point.
"Clearly I have." My voice dripping with sarcasm.
"First of all no! Secondly why do you even want to? I told you that he only helped us so that he could steal some of their weapons." He paused. "And have you conveniently forgot the part where he said 'the deals off I'm not helping you guys anymore.' or when he said 'you tell Anna if I see her face near my bar, house or family again I won't be as kind as last time.' You are not going!" He was in my face, yelling louder then before.
