Three:
We continued to discuss the plan and finally came up with a good, sturdy plan.
Amir wasn't happy when he woke up.
I mean Sarah's screams were getting annoying and he wouldn't put her down, so what did he expect me to do.
I went back to my room to change and I was now wearing a pair of black cargo pants and skin tight grey top, it was comfortable and flexible making it easy to move. I finally put on my black boots.
These boots are probably my favourite things, they both have a sheath in for my daggers and they were so comfy.
I had tied my hair back into a bun. I then put on my webbing.
All agents have them specially made for the weapons they use.
It was pretty basic it came over my shoulders wrapping around my waist and covering my chest, it had two knives attached to it and on the back were two holsters for my pistols with some pockets for ammo.
To an extent it was bulletproof but only on the chest area.
Not there to protect you from getting hurt, just to stop you from dying.
You get shot in the arm, you can walk that off. You get shot in the chest, definitely harder to walk off so that's the bit that is protected.
I met them all outside, all dressed similarly apart from Sarah who was wearing a pair of grey joggers and a bright blue top.
I shook my head at her and got into the car waiting as they all piled in.
Amir and Sarah were chatting away and Mark was watching them carefully.
Honestly the dude might as well adopt them at this point.
Ace was sat in the front with me staring out the window.
"Can you put the music on?" Sarah popped her head forwards.
I didn't bother looking at her.
"No."
"Why?" She whined.
"Beacuse I said no. I need to focus and playing your shitty music will make that hard." I snapped at her causing her to glare at me.
"Sarah would you put your damn seat belt on!" Mark hissed pulling her back.
"It hurts my neck. No!"
"Only because you're so short!" Amir laughed.
"Sarah put your god damn seatbelt on now!" Mark repeated and then turned to glare at Amir. "And don't you start pissing her off either. Both of you just sit quietly."
But she continued to refuse to put her seatbelt on.
So I stopped the car before quickly accelerating again causing the car to jolt forwards. Hearing a satisfying thump, I assumed that was Sarah falling off her seat.
She let out a groan and started complaining.
"Told you." Mark muttered.
I swear these people are meant to be the best team IPS has, I felt like I was babysitting.
Amir and Ace were laughing as Sarah grumbled some more.
~~~
After a short hike through the forest we could see the base.
Sarah had stayed in the car but insisted on singing down the comms.
I swear I'm going to kill her.
"Right Ace, me and you are going to go down and cause a distraction. Keep the fight with us. Whilst Amir and Mark blow the place up. Sound good?" I said quietly not wanting to draw attention.
