I Can Do This

Kai's POV

'Lloyd, are your bags packed?' I ask him as I head to the door. He's sitting on my bed, closing his eyes and trying not to think about the plane. He obviously is.

'Y-yeah, I'm fine. Fine as fine can be!' He weakly smiles at me. I go over and sit next to him, and hold his hand. 

'Lloyd, it's ok to be scared. Just know that I'll be sitting right next to you of you need me.' I assure him. Even I'm trying to stay calm.

'Thanks Kai. But is it ok if I sit in between you and Nya? I feel safest with you guys.' He says.

'Of course...' I begin. I still haven't told him about Skylor coming, but I know he won't mind.

'What...?' He begins, and looks at me curiously. 

'It's just...It's just that Skylor is coming with us now. Her and her girlfriend. I hope you don't mind.' I say and hold out my hand.

'Of course not! That's fine.' He says and takes my hand, leading me down the stairs with our bags. When we get down, everyone is at the door, and Skylor has just arrived. I don't really like seeing Skylor anymore. It's just really awkward. Me and Lloyd have dropped hands, but when Skylor comes over to say hi, I take Lloyds hand just to give her a little hint. She's the type that wants back what she doesn't have, even if she already has someone new.

'Why did you take my hand again?' Lloyd asks. Skylor is now slowing down.

'Because I love you.' I say, loud enough for Skylor to hear. She stops in her tracks and puts on a fake smile.

'Sooo... You guys are together now? When did this happen?' She asks.

'About a month ago, on Lloyds birthday. I made this special set up, and asked him out.' I said smirking a soft one. He giggled and leaned into me. 'Oh, are you wearing the necklace? The one I bought for you, that says 'My Forever Boy?' I ask, obviously succeeding in making Skylor jealous.

'Yeah I've got it on now. Why?' He asks and looks at me.

'No reason. C'mon, lets go to the car. You'll be riding with me and the others will be riding together.' I say and lead Lloyd to the front door.

'You ready Lloyd?' Cole asks. Lloyd takes a deep breath and tightens his grip around my hand. I give it a squeeze. He opens his eyes and looks at me. Then he turns to the others.

'I'm ready.'

Lloyds POV

'You should have something that you like or like to wear to distract you from the plane ride.' Kai says as we wait in a booth as Skylor and her girlfriend Renée get us some coffee's. 

'What do you mean?' I ask. He looks at me.

'Y'know. Something you like to be around, or like to wear that makes you happy.' He says. I instantly say my answer before I think of saying it.

'You. I like to be around you. You make me very happy. And I like to wear your big jumper.' I say, but then I hide my face, because I realise how clingy that sounds. He just chuckles.

'I thought you might say that. Lucky I have got that jumper in my backpack.' He says and pulls it out. I slip it on just as Skylor comes back. She looks at me confused. 

'Is that Kai's hoodie?' She asks. I instantly feel like I've done something wrong. Skylor is very good at making me feel like that.

'Yes-' I begin, but Kai interrupts.

'And you care because?' He says, looking at Skylor, before smirking at me. I giggle and turn to my coffee. I feel Kai's arm wrap around my waist. I move a little closer before looking at Skylor.
