I need to go back to the hotel room and start getting ready, let's hope Derek isn't there. I hope he went to the store or something

*outside the hotel room*

I slide the card on the door and opened it, please be empty, please Jesus, I saw the bathroom light on and the door closed. I could just grab my clothes and make a run for it. I just stood there thinking what my next move was, I didnt even realize that Derek walked out the bathroom. Shit shit, don't look at me, don't talk to me. I grabbed my bag that was full of my clothes and makeup and walked to the bathroom and closed the door before Derek could open his mouth.

I walked out the bathroom, grabbing my purse trying to be quiet and quick, I thought i made it out without Derek seeing me but then I felt someone grab my arm.

y/n- none of your business

d- I care about you let me know where you are

y/n- you didn't care about me when you cheated on me, you lost the right to give a damn about me when you started to flirt with that waitress. 

d- I told you she didnt mean anything to me

y/n- okay then I don't mean anything to you either because I didnt at the time when you were hooking up with her

y/n- I hope she made you feel better in bed then I could ever have because you can run back to her.

d- Alessya, I love you

my phone chirped it was Devin telling me he was here

y/n- I have a date to go to now, before im late.

d- a date?

y/n- yes a date, with someone who actually won't cheat on me

I yanked my arm away from him and walked out

I tried to not cry because I did not do my makeup just so I could cry and mess it up

I put a smile on and walked out of the building, Devin got out of the car and opened the door for me. Derek never did that, Devin is nice and he has manners. TBH Maria can take back Derek, let me stop thinking about Derek.

dev- to a restaurant

dev- thanks for letting me take you out, even though you got a 'boyfriend'

y/n- no not at all, he took me out for breakfast and he hooked up with the waitress, he told me not to worry about

dev- that's why I chose it

The waiter brought us to our table, and handed us the menu,

I looked at the food, all of it was $20 and up

y/n- all of this for is expensive

dev- you deserve all of it

no, he didnt, we never went on dates. He was always on the game, tbh I don't even know if that is true, he could have been with some chick.

My phone kept on getting notifications, I looked down they were from Derek, I rolled my eyes at my phone

I put my phone on DND and turned it off.

Devin and I talked about life, he is such a nice guy, he was too perfect

we ordered our food, he was better than Derek in all categories. It was too good to be true.

I heard someone yelling my name, I looked up it was.....
