Sunlight hit my eyes as I opened my eyes. I stretched and looked around. Ruby was laying next to me her arms were wrapped around my waist ,and her tail was on my legs. ' so fluffy ' I thought as I got up. Yang and Blake were gone. ' where are they now ' I asked myself. I noticed a note on the desk.

Dear ice queen
Me and Blake are going on a mission we'll be back later probably by lunch time
Your friend yang.

' oh ' I thought as I put the letter down. I heard the sheet move as Ruby woke up. "Morning Ruby how did you sleep?" I asked as I walked over to her giving her a kiss on the forehead. "Fine where yang and Blake?" She asked with a puzzled look on her face. "On a mission they should be back by lunch," I explained as she got up. I giggled at how her bed head looked. "What's so funny shorty?" She asked with a amused look. "Your hair is all messy," I explained. "Oh I'm gonna go have a shower," she said walking into the bathroom. I made the bed and found an old photo 'what the' I thought as I picked up the photo. I was a family photo ' are...those Ruby's parents ' I thought as I looked at the photo. I heard the bathroom door open. I looked and saw Ruby wearing her uniform. I quickly put the photo away. "Your turn shorty," she said in chipper tone.

Time skip

Ruby's POV
I was sitting in class next to Weiss. I was doodling a picture of Weiss. Weiss noticed "what are you drawing?" She asked me with a curious look in her eyes. "O...oh n...nothing!" I said with a flustered face. She smiled and looked at my drawing before I could hide it. "Wow your a good artist," she said with a smirk. I blushed and looked away. The bell rang signaling it was time for lunch. As I was getting up I felt like someone was staring at me. I turned around and saw Neptune glaring at me. He was talking to some girl ' he plotting something ' I thought as me and Weiss left the room. We walked into the cafeteria ,and saw yang and Blake sitting with team JNPR. "YANG BLAKE YOUR BACK!" I yelled as I tackled them into a hug. "Hey sis missed ya too," she said calmly. "How was class Ruby?" phyrra asked. "Fine ,but I feel like Neptune is up to something," I said I don't think Weiss heard me because she was talking to Blake. I took a bite out of my cookie. "Hey Ruby do you think you can tell us more about werewolves?" Jaune asked with a gleam in his eyes. "I'm sure, well many people don't know this but there was a third god," I said as I remembered what my mother told me when I was small. "The god of beast, the god of light created everything good in the world ,and the god of darkness created the Grimm," I explained. "The god of beast created the werewolves," I said. "Werewolves were blessed with the ability to manipulate the elements ,and transform into any animal or Grimm," I explained. "Can you show us something?" Ren asked. I nodded and summoned a fire ball in my hand. "That amazing," phyrra said with an amazed look on her face. "Incredible," Ren said. "Heh yeah it's pretty cool," I said. "My mom taught me to bend," I said as I stared at the fire in my hand. I felt a hand on my shoulder it was yangs. She smiled and I put out the fire in my hand. Suddenly I heard laughing I turned to see Cardin and his friends bullying velvet. I stood up and walk up behind Cardin. "Leave her alone Cardin," I said bitterly. He turned around and glared at me. "Heh and what are you gonna do about it mutt," he spat. I grabbed him by the collar and said again ever louder. "LEAVE HER THE HELL ALONE YOU DOUCHEBAG!" I yelled the whole cafeteria was looking at us. He shoved me back "fine but I'll get you for this mutt," he spat. I watched as he walked away with his team. I turned to velvet "are you alright?" I asked with a sincere look. She rubber her ears "y...yeah I'm fine thanks for helping me," she said with a small smile. "No problem you go back to your team," I said with a smile. She nodded and walked away. I went back and sat back down with my friends. "Wow sis you kicked ass!" Yang said pumping her fist into the air. "You should've broken his leg!" Nora said enthusiastically. "Thanks guys but I didn't what to hurt anyone I just did what was needed," I said finishing my food.
