Ruby walked down the halls it was late about 12:00 pm she couldn't sleep. Ruby walked into the training room. She picked up a wooded sword ,and turned on one of the training bot. She began to train with the robot. Ruby began to have flash backs to her time in atlas thanks to the atlisian bot. Ruby lost control and destroyed the robot. Ruby panted as she stared at the broken robot ' damnit ' Ruby thought as she cleaned the robots body. Suddenly she heard the door to the training room open. She turned her head and stared at Cardin and his gang. She growled as they walked closer "what do you want Cardin?" Ruby asked in a harsh tone. "Listen her MUTT I have a bone to pick with you...GRAB HER!!" he yelled to his friend. They grabbed her arms "LET GO OF ME!" Ruby yelled as she tried to pry herself out of their grasp. Cardin walked over to her he smirked. He punched her hard in the gut. "GAH!" Ruby coughed up some blood. He continued to punch her in the face and stomach. Ruby had bruises and a black eye. Her nose and mouth were heavily bleeding ,and her body was in so much pain. Cardin's friend let her go she fell to the floor bleeding. "Heh not so strong now are ya you worthless mutt!" He said grabbing her hair and pulling her head to his mouth and whispering those words in her ear. He let go "so long mutt," he said leaving with his friends laughing. After about twenty minutes Ruby finally got up slowly. She slowly limped back to her dorm. She slowly opened the door and collapsed to the ground.

Weiss POV

I woke up to a thud on the ground. I opened my eyes ,and looked and saw Ruby laying on the ground covered in bruises and gashes. "RUBY!" I yelled as I ran to her. Yang and Blake woke up to my yelling. "Uh...Weiss whats-RUBY!" She yelled jumping off her bunk followed by Blake. "RUBY CAN YOU HEAR ME?!" Yang yelled. "c...cardin..." She mumbled before passing out. "THAT BASTARD IM GONNA KILL HIM!!!" yang yelled. "Yang calm down we have to focus on Ruby now," Blake said putting her hand on yangs shoulder. The door opened and team JNPR. "What's going on?! Jaune asked worried. "It's that Bastard Cardin he did this to Ruby!" Yang yelled. I was bandaging Ruby's wounds ' there ' that should help. "Here," phyrra said handing me a ice pack. "Thanks phyrra," I said in a small voice. "Is...is she gonna be ok?" Nora asked kneeling next to Weiss. "Yeah... she'll be fine..." I mumbled. "She'll be fine Ruby is strong and so is her aura," Ren said with a calm voice.

One hour later

Everyone had fallen asleep except for Weiss. Weiss was watching Ruby sleep. ' I can't believe that Bastard did this to Ruby I'm gonna kick his ass ' I thought to myself. I moved a piece of Ruby's hair out of her face. I held her hand as she slept peacefully. ' how could someone hurt her like this ' I questioned myself. "I'm sorry Ruby..." I muttered to her. I kissed her forehead as I drifted to sleep.

Ruby's POV

I woke up in Weiss arms I had bandages around my wounds from Cardin. ' Weiss...' I stared at her sleeping face. I began to remember what Cardin had told me

' your a worthless mutt!'
' just die!'
' your a savage animal!'
' FREAK!'

' you belong to me!'
' MAMA!'
' your a damn animal you belong to me!'
' PAPA WAKE UP PLEASE!'
'YANG!'
I felt tears fall into my hands as I cried. I got up and walked into the bathroom. I picked up my knife from under the sink.
Warning self harm ahead

I pressed the knife to my skin and made a few cuts. I made about seven cuts '...' I suddenly heard the door open revealing Weiss. "W...Weiss I...I.." Weiss opened the cabinet and pulled out the first aid kit. "Sit," she said pointing to the toilet. I sat on the toilet and looked at my feet. She put disinfectant on my cuts. She bandaged them I winced as my ears lowered. "I...I'm sorry," I mumbled looking down as tears feel down my face. She looked at me and didn't say anything "why..." She asked. "W...what?" I asked. "Why do you do this?" She asked me with tears filled her eyes. "I...it's a coping thing...to deal with...stress and...the trauma..." I mumbled. "I had to watch my parents die...I had to watch my village get burned to the ground..." I muttered. "I just couldn't deal with it so I stared to do this..." I said avoiding eye contact. "How...long?" She asked. "I've been doing this for a year," I said ashamed. "It started when I escaped atlas it started small but...I stared to do it more often I...I'm sorry I didn't tell I...was scared..." I said as I began to sob. She hugged me "shhhh...it's ok I'm here for you please just...don't do it again...I'm here for you I'll always be here for you," she said kissing my forehead. "I love you... remember you can always talk to me," she said cupping my cheek. "I love you too I promise I won't do it again," I said with a smile. "We should get some sleep," she said with a smile. "Ok princess," I smiled as I picked her up like a princess. "AHHH Ruby put me down you dolt!" She said with fake anger. I kissed her cheek "sorry princess but the prince must always carry their princess~" I cooed placing her in the bed. I got on top of her I smirked she was really flustered. "Hello princess~" I smirked. I began to kiss her neck "ahhh~ Ruby...s...stop," she moaned. I licked her neck and nibbled on her neck to her shoulder. "Ahhhh~" She moaned loudly "don't be to loud princess wouldn't want to wake up yang now would we~" I purred. "R...ruby~ d...don't leave...a mark~" she moaned. I smirked "oh~ I won't leave a mark...not there~" I purred.

I woke up and saw Weiss cuddled up to me her bare skin against mine. I blushed as I remembered the events of last night. I noticed yang and Blake were not there. ' they're probably out on a date ' I thought. Weiss was snoring softly ' so cute '. "Weiss~ time to get up~" I sang sweetly. "Hmmmm five...more... minutes," she muttered. "Okie I'm getting up first then," I said attempting to get up ,but I was pulled back in the bed. Weiss was holding on to me from behind. "Weiss~ let me go~" I said but she began sniffing my hair and then bit my neck "ha ha Weiss stop it that tickles!" I yelled laughing. "Before I wake up don't leave me," she muttered. "I'm just gonna get breakfast," I said. "No way," she muttered. I chuckled "ok ok I'm not going anywhere," I said kissing her forehead. "I'm always here Weiss," I said kissing her forehead. We both got up and took a shower together. It was kinda awkward at first but we began to make out and that made the awkwardness went away. We got out and got ready in causal cloths. As I was changing I noticed Weiss was looking at my abs. "See something you like~~" I said seductively. She blushed and looked away. I giggled and kissed her cheek I noticed she was also staring at my scars. "Weiss...you ok?" I asked with a concerned look on my face. "Oh I was just...looking at your...scars," she muttered. "Weiss I'm fine scars aren't a bad thing they mean you survived...scars don't define you...you define yourself," I said with a warm smile. She smiled "thanks bright-eyes," she said and we shared a passionate kiss.
