snow day

Weiss awoke to find yang and Blake getting into cold whether gear. "W...what are you two doing it's the middle of July?" Weiss asked rubbing her eye. "Oh morning Weiss! You gotta see this it's snowing!" Yang exclaimed happily. "What!" Weiss said loudly getting up and walking to the window. She looked out the window ,and just like yang said it was snowing. "H...how! It's the middle of July!" Weiss yelled waking up Ruby. "Weiss...what is it?" Ruby asked rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. "It's snowing," Weiss said turning to Ruby. "What! But... It's July," Ruby said clearly confused. "That's what I said!" Weiss yelled with confusion all over her face. "Well as team leader I declare this humble day...a snow day," Ruby said with a proud smile. The three girls stared at Ruby with a ' really ' look on their faces. "Well it Sunday so I suppose we could go have some fun in the snow," Weiss said. "YAAAY OH YOUR THE BEST SNOWFLAKE!" Ruby yelled hugging her girlfriend. "R...RUBY TO TIGHT!" Weiss yelled trying to escape ,but it was no use Ruby was to strong. There was a knock at the door Blake opened it. "Hey guys wanna join us in the snow?" Jaune asked as his team stood behind him in winter wear. "Of course!" Ruby said using her semblance to run ahead of the others. Ruby burst through the front doors of Beacon. "SNOW DAY!" she yelled as she fell into a pile of snow. Her tail poking out. "What a dolt," Weiss said with a soft smile. "Heh looks like Ruby melted the ice queen's heart," yang said with a smirk plastered on her face. "Q... QUIET YOU!" Weiss yelled with a red face. "C'mon guys!" Ruby yelled swimming in the snow. Weiss and Blake began building a snow man while yang was building a snow bumblebee (bike). Ruby crept behind Weiss tackling her into the snow. "RUBY IM GONNA KILL YOU!" Weiss yelled as she chased Ruby while Ruby was laughing. Suddenly they all turned once they heard Nora laughing. She was standing on a snow fort. "Ha ha I'm queen of the castle I'm queen of the castle!" She yelled wearing a snow crown. Ruby smiled and looked at her team. Ruby walked to the gates of Nora's fort. "I declare a snow ball WAR!!" Ruby yelled making a snow ball. "Challenge accepted!" Nora yelled. "Attack!" Ruby yelled. Yang made a giant snow ball throwing it at Nora. Nora dodged the snow ball. Phyrra and jaune jumped from behind the walls of the "castle" and began throwing snow balls. Phyrra was throwing show balls at Ruby. Ruby smirked and used a special kind of bending...SNOW BENDING!! Ruby covered phyrra in snow. "Ha now for the queen!" Ruby said turning into a hawk. "WEISS GLYPH!" Ruby yelled Weiss summoned a glyph and Ruby began throwing snow balls at Nora eventually getting her right in the face. "VICTORY!!" Ruby yelled raising her hands in the air. But stopped when a snow ball hit her face. The snow ball was thrown by none other than Weiss "hmph payback!" Weiss yelled with a big smile on her face. Ruby got up and whipped the snow off her face. "Well played princess," Ruby said then used her semblance to tackle Weiss again. They both looked at each other with red faces. Ruby smiled and rolled off of Weiss ,and began to make a snow angel. Weiss smiled and began to do the same. They both giggled Ruby looked at Weiss snow angel ,and then looked at hers it was more of a snow wolf. Weiss giggled and kissed Ruby's cheek. Ruby blushed and suddenly got hit by a snowball. "Ha headshot," Nora yelled Ruby smiled and turned into a white beowolf. Ruby began to chase Nora "AHHH I'm sorry," Nora yelled running away. Ren put his hand on his face and sighed. Phyrra and jaune laughed. "Yeah get her Ruby!" Yang yelled. After some fun in the snow they all went inside for hot coco (not that human coco lol). They sipped their coco and talked about teen stuff. Weiss was the only one to notice Ruby walk out of the room. ' where is she going ' Weiss thought as she got up and followed Ruby. Ruby walked into their dorm ,and picked up a guitar. She began to strum and began to sing

Weiss felt tears in her eyes by how moving Ruby's song was. "Ruby..." Weiss said softly. Ruby turned her attention to the ivory haired girl. "W...Weiss how long...have you been standing there," she asked. "The whole time," Weiss said softly. "O...oh..." Ruby said looking down. "Do you wanna talk about it," Weiss asked taking Ruby's hand. "Can we... cuddle?" Ruby asked embarrassed. Weiss smiled and sat on the bed patting her lap. Ruby's eyes lit up and her tail was wagging. Ruby jumped into the bed ,and cuddled close to Weiss. "So that song was about your...mom right?" Weiss asked stroking Ruby's hair. Ruby nodded ands buried her face into Weiss's chest. "I...I remembered how much she loved snow days..." Ruby mumbled. "Heh we would play for hours In the snow building snowmen ,and having snowball fights...and then we would bake cookies..." She said holding Weiss tighter. "She sounded like an amazing mom I'm sorry you had to go through that Ruby..." Weiss said softly stroking her ears. "Thank Weiss for putting up with my dumb problems," Ruby said in a small voice. "Hey...hey...your problems aren't dumb I care about you...I'm here for you," Weiss said cupping Ruby's cheeks making Ruby look at her. Ruby smiled and held Weiss's hand. "I love you Weiss," Ruby said with a smile. "Hm I love you too," Weiss said kissing Ruby passionately. Ruby cuddled up to weiss purring softly. Weiss smiled stroking Ruby's ears "your ears are so soft," Weiss cooed. "Hmmm~ and your comfy," Ruby replied. "Weiss...?"Ruby asked. "Hmmmm what is it," Weiss asked. "Why...why do you love me?" Ruby asked not moving. Weiss was surprised by the question but smiled. "I love you because your strong, smart when you wanna be...your a great leader, your a kind , beautiful,and you put others before yourself," Weiss said stroking her hair. "I love you because your an amazing person and because...your you," Weiss said sweetly. Ruby smiled and kissed Weiss "thanks shorty I love you," Ruby said hugging the ivory haired girl. "I love you too," Weiss said as they both fell asleep.
