Team RWBY were sitting in professor Ports class listening to his lecture. Ruby to Weiss's surprise was actually paying attention. The bell rang ' thank the brothers I'm starving ' Ruby thought as she got up to leave with her team. Professor Ports stopped her "miss rose can you please stay I need to talk to you," he said sitting at his desk. "Oh...of course sir," Ruby said. "I'll catch up guys," Ruby said as her friends nodded and left the room. "Miss Rose I just wanted to say I'm impressed that your finally paying attention," port said his mustache wigging as he spoke. "Oh! Thank you sir I just don't have alot on my mind," Ruby explained rubbing the back of her neck. "Well keep it up miss Rose you may go," he said dismissing her. Ruby nodded and left the room. Ruby walked into the hall ,and was surprised to see her friends waiting for her. "Guys you didn't have to wait for me," Ruby said with a slight smile. "Pshh it's no biggie sis your our friend we wanted to wait for ya," yang said ruffling up her hair. "AHHH yang stop your messing up my hair!" Ruby yelled trying to get her older sisters hand off of her. Yang bear hugged Ruby "awww my baby sister is angry," yang said squeezing her sister. "Gah! Yang....can't....breath," Ruby mumbled losing air. Yang let her go as the others laughed. "Awwww sorry sis c'mon let's eat," yang said as they began to walk to the cafeteria. Yang and Blake were walking ahead of Weiss and Ruby. Team JNPR was leading the way which made the red and white duo at the back. Ruby glanced at Weiss's hand ' should I...' she thought. After a few moments Ruby took Weiss's hand not looking at her. Ruby was blushing and not looking at Weiss. She heard Weiss giggle and hold her hand. Ruby smiled as walked closer to Weiss. "Love you," she mumbled just loud enough for Weiss to hear. "Hmmm~ love you too," Weiss said kissing Ruby's cheek. We made it to the cafeteria "hey rubes race ya," yang said getting in a running position. "Heh your on," ruby said as she began running. Ruby activated her semblance zooming past yang winning the race. "Hey no semblances you cheater!" Yang yelled catching up to Ruby. "You never said I couldn't use my semblance," Ruby protested. "It was heavily implyed!" Yang said with a huff. Ruby smiled as they all got their food ,and began walking to their usual table. Their table was occupied by Cardin and his friends ' great...' Ruby thought. Cardin noticed Ruby and smirked "well well well look who it is come back for more," Cardin said mockingly. "Cardin can you please move I don't want a fight but this is our table," Ruby said calmly. "Tsk I'm not moving so you and your loser friends better get lost," Cardin sneered. Ruby's ears went down in anger "don't call my friends losers!" Ruby yelled. "Heh what are you gonna do about it freak!" He yelled slapping Ruby's tray out of her hands. Ruby growled "oh is the mutt angry wanna fight here I'll get you started!" He yelled punching Ruby in the face. Yang tried to intervene but cardin's team mate Russel had a freezing semblance. Yang and the others were frozen in place as Cardin and Ruby began to fight. Ruby dodged Cardin's attacks not wanting to hurt him she wasn't a monster. Cardin punched Ruby in the stomach causing Ruby to fall to her knees. "Hey I wonder what Weiss sees in you maybe you should send her my way I'd treat her nicely," he said with a perverted smirk. Ruby felt anger rise in her she quickly sprang to her feet. She punched Cardin hard in the jaw. "DONT YOU DARE TALK ABOUT WEISS LIKE THAT YOU PERVERTED BASTARD!!" Ruby yelled her eyes glowing redder than yangs. Cardin's nose was bleeding heavily "you... DUMB MUTT I'LL SHOW YOU!!" Cardin yelled running twords Ruby. Ruby squared up ready to fight ,but cardin abruptly stopped. He was stopped by glynda and her semblance. "WHAT IN ALL OF REMNANT IS GOING ON HERE!!" glynda yelled. Cardin tried playing victim "s...she started it she's a savage animal!" Cardin yelled. Russel stopped freezing Ruby's friends "he's lying he started the fight," phyrra said with a look of anger on her face. "Mr. Winchester please come with me at once to professor ozpins office!" Glynda yelled angrily. Cardin had an angry look on his face "I'll get you for this!" He muttered as he walked past Ruby. Ruby watched him leave with glynda. "Are you alright Ruby?" Yang asked putting her hand on her sisters shoulder. "Yeah I'm fine," Ruby mumbled. Ruby suddenly felt someone dragging her away nobody else noticed. Weiss had dragged her outside "w...Weiss what wrong?" Ruby asked. "I just wanted to say...thanks for standing up for me," Weiss said with a slight blush on her face. "Oh no problem I won't let anyone talk badly about my princess!" Ruby shouted happily pumping her fist in the air. "Hm~ let got get you more food," Weiss said walking back into the cafeteria.
