Falling for you

The secret is out

I'm flying to Georgia for a few days before our live event this weekend. I wanted to surprise Emma so I told Brittany and Steven not to tell her I was coming. Steven picked me up from the airport while Brittany was at work and the girls were at school. I grabbed my bags and got stopped by a few fans so I took some pictures and signed a few autographs.

Steven: That must be crazy to have people always asking to take pictures with you.

Oliver: It really is. I remember meeting Kurt Angle as a kid and it blew my mind. It's weird thinking that to some kid is having that same experience I had as kid when they meet me.

Steven: So how long are you staying?

Oliver: Just for the day, I was going to take Emma to Orlando tonight. We're having a live event in Orlando Sunday. I wanted to take her to the show since its been a while since she's seen me wrestle live.

Steven: I'm sure she'd like that a lot. She always talks about wanting to see you wrestle in person again

Oliver: I think she'll have fun.

Brittany ended up getting off work early so I spent the day with her and Steven at home. I was waiting for Emma to get home from school so I could bring her to Orlando so I had her stuff packed and waiting by the door for when she came home. The girls came home from school and were surprised when they saw me at the house.

Ashley: Hey Uncle Oliver.

Oliver: How's it going Ash?

Ashley: Pretty good, happy that we have a 3 day weekend.

Oliver: How are you Emma?

Emma: Fine.

Ashley: How long are you here for Uncle Oliver?

Emma: I see you have your bag packed. It was nice seeing you.

Oliver: Emma what's with the attitude?

Emma: I just miss you that's all. Ever since you went back I never see you anymore.

Oliver: Just so you know that bag isn't mine. It's yours, I'm bringing you to Orlando with me for the weekend.

Emma: Seriously?

Oliver: Yup, it's just me and you this weekend kid.

*Friday*

Today Emma and I are spending the day together. We went to the mall and I took her shopping, now we're at lunch catching up on things.

Emma: So dad, do you have a girlfriend yet?

Oliver: No but I met this girl named Lexi and she's awesome, I like her a lot

Emma: So ask her out then.

Oliver: I want to get to know her a little bit first.

Emma: Just go for it dad.

Oliver: I'll think about it. So, how's school going?

Emma: Pretty good I have straight A's again.

Oliver: Hell yeah that's my girl. How did tryouts for basketball go?

Emma: Pretty good, I made the varsity team. I'm the only underclassmen on the team and I'm going to be the starting Point Guard.

Oliver: That's awesome, I can't wait to come to your games. Any idea what you want to do after you graduate?

Emma: Nope, I still have 2 more years left. I'll have it figured out by then.

Oliver: Did you get your license yet?
