I giggled as I stepped out of the elevator, my phone pressed to my ear. Hitoshi spoke about a cat he had found, I had agreed to let him keep the cat in my room until we could figure something else out. I looked around and was stunned. There was a bucket of some red-ish liquid on the floor next to the table, not to mention what looked like blood splatter on the table.

"Dude, there's something wrong. It stinks like bleach in here and there's spots of blood and feathers all over the place." I quickly started down the hall towards the room I was staying in.

"Get somewhere safe and message Hawks, don't get off the call with me." Hitoshi instructed.

I ducked inside the room and locked the door, placing Hitoshi on speaker before sending a text to Hawks.

I heard a buzz come from outside the door.

"Kid, I watched you bolt in here. Come out." Hawks called from outside my door.

I let out a deep sigh. "Everything is good. Hawks is here and fi..." I opened the door, Hawks stood there covered in blood. His jacket and shirt were torn plus his face being all scuffed up.

"Hey, I'll call you back in the morning. I've got to go." I hung up and dropped my phone before mumbling. "I... I just..."

Traitor, in the permission or whatever it was. Hitoshi referred to him a traitor.

"Kid, the guy that attacked you came after me with some friends like an hour after you left. The blood is mostly mine because damn did one of those bastards get a few licks in." Hawks chuckled a bit, noticing how much blood was on him. "The police already came and took them away to the hospital.

I just stared, something inside me was screaming to grab my shit and get the hell out of that place.

"How did your dinner go?" He leaned against the door frame.

"Endeavor never showed, so it was pretty great." I smiled slightly.

Hawks nodded. "I'm sure that you're probably tired or whatever so I'll let you so your thing."

"Thanks." I managed to choke out before closing the door.

My mind was running at a mile a minute, logically everything Hawks said made sense but the way he spoke was so detached. My heart said something was wrong, that for some reason I was not safe. Legs kicking in before I could make up my mind, I started gathering my thing and throwing everything together.

"Calm down, there's nothing wrong."

My own words did nothing to deter my bodies brisk movements and I soon found myself at the window, sliding down a vine down to the street. I pulled my bags tighter over my shoulder before hailing a taxi out of the city.

The ride was quiet for the most part until the woman driving piped up. "You leaving your boyfriend?"

I laughed a bit. "I just need to get back home. To friend of mine so that he can help me understand some drama."

"Kind of late, we'll get to the train station as the last train for the night is due. You look kind of young to be traveling on your own, you look kind of familiar. Are you an actress?" She smiled back at me in the mirror.

"I attend UA High actu..."

"Oh my god, you're the HBIC Flower." She hit herself in the forehead. "You're a whole movement kid, girls are standing with each other against their bullies. It may seem small but your actions against that angry kid at the Sports Festival was pretty inspiring for young kids that want to be heroes, my daughter included."

My smile wouldn't decrease. "Could I sign something for her? I don't really know how to react to something like this."

The driver joyfully handed back a notepad.

Never stop fighting for your goals. Perennial~

We reached the train station and I quickly thanked her before rushing to board the train back home.
