"Koko.. it's daddy's birthday" Harper told me as she ate her food. Me, her, lashon and Kaleia went to eat breakfast this morning
"I know.. how old is he now?"
She tapped her chin while looking at lashon then shrugged
"I don't know.. thirty"
"Thirty?" Lashon repeated making me and harper laugh "do I look thirty to you?"
"Yeah"
"Damn lashon" I laughed "she pushed you up what? Five years"
"Hell yeah" he chuckled. Kaleia started slapping her hands on the high chair she sat in, smiling and yelling before she grabbed her bottle
"I'm surprised her momma let you get her"
"Shit, me too. And she be quick to make it seem like I purposely don't do shit for her"
"When she coming to pick her up?"
"Tomorrow. That's why ima spoil the fuck outta her today while I can cause Ain no tellin when Maria bipolar ass gone let me get her again"
"I'm surprised you ain wanted to go to the club or nothing"
Lashon shook his head "Nah. I ain fuckin with that this year. I been chillin a lot lately"
"I've noticed. Having that one right there full time ain easy is it?" I pointed at harper
"Not at all mane. I ain know her ass could be so bad"
Harper looked down at her food, playing in it with her fork instead of paying attention to us
"And I found this year round private school for her to go to. It's expensive as shit but I heard they was good and they said they could get her in ASAP. Plus they wear uniforms and all that other shit and I took her up there to look around when I was off the other day, she told me she liked it"
"Okay then. I can go half with you on her tuition and stuff. Just let me know. Plus I finally get to pay my car off next month so that's extra money in my pockets"
"You went to look at that house?"
"Yeah. I decided ima get it. I wish you could've came to look with me instead of Kentrell"
"Why? He was pissing you off?"
"When don't Kentrell piss me off"
Lashon laughed "y'all always tryina find some shit to argue about. What y'all beefin for now?"
"That's him! He so damn one sided about everything like it's always his way or he don't wanna do it and that's annoying as hell"
"Y'all argue more than me and Diana did"
"Don't play like that. Don't NOBODY argue worse than y'all. And y'all always argued over stupid stuff, mostly y'all being two hoes in love"
"Well shit" he let out a slight laugh while glancing over to his left causing me to look too. Walking in was sheana along with some other girl.
"There go yo cousin"
"What cousin?" I scoffed while I ate some of my eggs
"That the bitch she brought to yo house?"
"No. That girl probably went back to Virginia now. Should've kept her ass up there in the first place"
"She must be head over heels in love with that nigga for her to fly out here to fight you about some dick"
