Prospective- William
As Skyler typed furiously on her laptop, Riley and I sat on the couch. I occasionally would look at Skyler as she typed. We had been sitting there for a few hours before Skyler said "Guys I've got it we have about five minutes before we will be shut down." "Ok, put it through." I said. She hit a few bottoms on the keyboard then smiled at the face of the Director of SHIELD. "Agent Ward, Fitz, and Coulson what can I do for you?" Director Coulson asked.
"Sir, Ward has escaped." Riley said.
"We're all that's left." I added.
"Sir, please lock on to my laptop so you may track onto my location." Skyler said.
"What happened to Agent May?" Director Coulson asked.
"Sir, she was knocked unconscious, and Agent Skye is tied up in the co-pilot seat." I answered.
The Director shook his head before saying "Ward is probably going to try and take her to see her father, then drop Agent May, Agent Coulson, and you Agent Fitz at the nearest Hydra base to be complied. As for you Agent Skyler you will end up-" The video feed cutout, and Grant Ward was standing above the three of us. Skyler stood up and said "Father," she said tears forming in her eyes "take me leave my friends alone." I know realized what was happening she was buying us time to tranq him.
I pulled my small hand gun out of my pocket and shot, I hit him in the shoulder he looked at me, I shot again. Skyler then resoled her father to the ground, she didn't let up until we were sure that he was out. We quickly ran to the cockpit to untie Skye and see if Agent May was conscious again. Agent May was still unconscious, but was starting to come back. Skye asked Riley to help her fly the plane until Agent May woke up.
Skyler and I walked out of the cockpit, I sat on the couch while Skyler curled up in the chair closest to my couch. "So...did you...um...mean that you would go with your father, if it meant Riley's and my freedom?" I asked immediately that I crossed the line. She just sat there staring at me, she then gave her head a small shake up and down. "Will, can I trust you with something?" Skyler asked. "Yes Skyler, you can trust me. What is it?" I replied.
"Will, if I trust you with this you have to promise to never tell, anyone." She said.
I shook my head yes then allowed her to continue. "The reason I," she said with a sigh "The reason I would go with my dad is because, I l-lo-love you." I looked at her then stood up, crossed the room to where she was sitting. Tears were now streaming down her cheeks, and my eyes were full of tears I almost couldn't see Skyler. I managed to find her soft lips, then kissed then. Her tears kept flowing, but her eyes were closed as she kissed me back.
When she pulled away she said breathing heavily "Can we take it slow?" My hands were holding her head, and our foreheads were touching. I shook my head yes, then kissed her again. I opened my eye so I could pull away, to see Riley standing by the door to the cockpit. She was smiling, a single tear traced its way down her cheek, then she turn away. I pulled away, Skyler stood up to allow me to sit in the chair she was in. She then sat on my lap, she then snuggled into my oversized hoodie, and fell fast asleep. I carried her into her bunk, and lay her in the bed, and covered her with the blankets. As I walked out of Skyler's bunk and shut the door, I was embraced in a hug from Riley. She then whispered "Thank you William Fitz for taking my friends pain away to allow her to love..."
