(Hopes POV)

I had to stay in the hospital for three more days to make sure I was still getting positive results for all the tests that they were giving me, which luckily I was. On the last day around one in the afternoon, Evan was waiting for me in the waiting room as I walked out of the set of double doors. He was standing there, flowers in his hands, and a big grin on his face. He ran over to me and picked me up in a hug.

"I've been waiting for this day for so long now, holy fuck." He says as he plants a soft sweet kiss on my lips. He sets me down and hands the flowers to me. I look at him closely now. His long hair was gone and was a lot shorter now.

"You cut your hair, I liked your long hair though, even though I barely got to see it," I say giving a sad smile to him.

"I wanted a change besides, it was starting to get noticeable with the mask. Anyway I have so much planned for us today, but first, we have to go the gym for the class that I teach for an hour, then afterward we're going to-" I grab onto his hand to make him shut up.

"You teach a class at the gym? What like a spin class or something?" I begin to laugh as gives me an annoyed look.

"A self-defense class actually. I become an instructor there about two months ago. It helped pass the time if the gang wasn't doing anything." He shrugs as he looks toward the entrance of the hospital. He holds his arm out to me and I take it as he walks us out.

"Now that I'm moving again, will you tell me about Sydnee?" I ask looking up at him. He bites his lip for a second before shaking his head.

"I'll tell you about her in a couple weeks when you can fight again. I don't want you to go looking for her and you fucking almost dying on me again." He says a bit annoyed now. I'll just text Autumn or one of the guys so they can tell me about this bitch. Hell, maybe Brian can tell me about her.

We were cruising through downtown for a little while when he parks next to the sidewalk and turns off the car. He takes off his hoodie and tosses at me. I unbuckle my seatbelt and put it on excitingly. I look over at him as he was now wearing a black muscle shirt and basketball shorts with white running shoes.

"Everyone knows about you in there, so don't worry about walking through with me alright?" He opens his door and gets out of the car. I get out and set the flowers on my seat and walk to his side, grabbing his hand as we walk up the multi-floor gym.

Inside, it was a cold drop in temperature, a lot more cooler than outside. Music was blaring around the place as weights were being lifted and dropped. The guy at the front desk looks up and waves at Evan before looking at me and immediately stands up.

"Is this her dude?! Holy shit I was not expecting this!" He says as he leans over the desks and holds out his hand to me. Evan stops in front of the desk as I look at the guy confused and shake his hand.

"Just got out today, so if I don't come in for a little while now you know why," Evan says before looking at me. I let go of the guy's hand and bring it back to my side.

"Just letting you know you'll be having a few new people in there today that are trying out their free week trial." The guy says as he sits back down in his chair. Evan nods his head as he walks us to the elevator.

"Does anyone in here know about, the other Evan?" I ask as we step into the elevator and he presses the four button. Evan shakes his head no as he laughs.

"I actually use Vanoss as a scare tactic for them. Saying if they don't do something right then BAM Vanoss already killed them. It fucking works too which is hilarious to me." I felt the elevator pull us up to the fourth floor.
