(Hopes POV)
I waited 10 minutes for Brian to get back. When I realized he wasn't coming back I checked my phone once more for a text message, still nothing. I said fuck it and decided to go dance, the drink was somehow already kicking in and I wanted to have a fun time with or without anyone I knew. I made my way down the stairs and went into the middle of the dancefloor and started swaying to the music. With each sway, the alcohol kicked in more and I was feeling good and confident.
Within a few minutes, I felt hands hold onto my waist and sway with me. I turn my head and see red jacket guy from earlier swaying with me. I smile before starting to laugh as I get closer to him, he accepts it and presses up against me now. I turn my head and see another guy much taller than me, he was wearing black and white striped pants and a shirt with a cat on it that said 'Wildcat' on it. He wasn't on me but he was really close to me, he gives me a smile as he continues to dance. Thank god Brian isn't here, he'll probably get into a fight with these guys on me. I laugh to myself at the thought.
One more guy joined the other two. He wasn't as tall as the other two but still taller than me. He had a Pogo mask on with a red jacket and black shorts. A little weird wearing a mask to a club, but I wanted to do so as well. I look back at red jacket and see as he looks down at me, he gives me a smile and leans in close to my ear.
"How about by the end of tonight, you come home with me instead of anyone else." He says in my ear before pulling away from me. I give him a smile and shrug my shoulders.
"You seem to be moving fast, aren't you? Luckily I'm getting over a douche so I'll think about it." I tell him. He playfully rolls his eyes and gives me a smile.
"I think telling your friends that you went home with the owner of this club would be a story to tell." He yells to me over the music. I look at him shocked before smiling back at him. Maybe a guy with money is a lot better than Brian. I move away from him and turn around to face him.
"I have to go to the bathroom I'll be back in a second to continue dancing with you." He gives me a nod as he continues to dance. I go back up the stairs and go into the unisex bathroom.
As I get down washing my hands I turn to walk out the door and run into someone. I look up and was greeted by a blue hoodie and a white mask with red marks on it. I smile and lower my head as I step out of the way for him.
"Sorry, I had a few drinks," I yell. He nods his head and goes into the bathroom.
As I walk towards the stairs, a bartender is walking around with a tray of shots on them. I grab a glass and down it as I pass him and put the empty glass back on the tray. I go back down the stairs and see red jacket hasn't moved. I tap on his shoulder and start to sway again. He turns his head and smiles at me. He grabs onto my waist again while spinning me around again so I'm up against him again. I giggle at him and continue to sway. Maybe I should ask for his name before I even go home with him.
"What's your name?" I turn my head and look at him.
"It's Evan, why want to remember for later?" He gives me another wink.
I turn my head back around and notice one more guy has joined the now forming circle. He looked like a beachgoer as he was wearing a sunset-colored tanktop and bright blue pants. Okay, the guys starting to surround me is starting to get concerning. I felt Evan lean in.
"They're my friends and they're just making sure I either don't run away with you, or you try to kill me." He laughs as he plants a kiss on my neck. I start to laugh as I close my eyes and sway with the music and Evan.
I felt a sudden panic feeling run through my body, I felt like someone was staring at me, staring at me hard. I open my eyes again and look around the club, to see if anyone was staring at me. Other than Evan's friends giving the occasional glance at us no one was staring at me. I look up at the second floor to see if anyone up there was looking down at me. No one once again.
"We can go up to the DJ booth if you wanna keep dancing, or I can take you up to my office and show you around that." Evan leans in and says. I shake my head no.
"Maybe in a little bit you can take me up to the booth. I wanna stay on the dancefloor for a while longer." I yell to him.
The panic feeling felt like it was getting stronger. I look around once more before I was greeted with familiar eyes. Sitting on one of the couches next to the dance floor was daddy's money. His hands were interlocked with one another as he held up his head with them, his arms sitting on his legs as he leaned forward. He wasn't just staring at me, he was glaring at me. If eyes could shoot lasers, I would be dead right now. I move my hand to feel for my switchblade, still in its place. How could he recognize me if I had my bandana on when we met? Is he even glaring at me, or is he glaring at Evan for having his hands on me? If that's the case then.
I grab Evan's hands and pull him as close as he can get to me, he starts to laugh as he runs his hands up and down my sides. I take another glance at suit guy as he's now standing up.
"You could've just asked you know." He says through his laughs. I look back and smile at him.
"How about you show me that office of yours now," I suggest. He smiles at me and nods his head.
He steps back away from me and holds out his hand to me. I take it as he leads us up to the DJ booth and through the people and up more stairs so we're now on the second floor. He opens the door and leads me in first. I walk in and look around as he walks in after me and closes the door behind me. He walks ahead of me and starts to lead the way. I look in the first room we pass and see Brian at a computer as another guy is pointing at a couple of things on the computer. He wears a monkey mask and a white shirt with a painted tie on it with black pants. I stop and look at Brian.
"What the hell are you doing in here Brian?!" I yell at him. He looks up from the computer and looks at me.
I felt a hard push on my back as I fall forward. I look back to see wildcat shirt from the dancefloor. I scoot back and get up, pulling out my switchblade and point it at him. I heard Brian get up from the computer chair.
"Shit I forgot she carried that on her!" Brian says running over to me. I felt a hard object hit between my shoulder and neck from behind me. Darkness overcame me as I fell to the floor.
