Chapter 72

(Hopes POV)

For the first time in a long while, my body actually let me sleep in and wake up without interruption. When I opened my eyes and looked at the time, it was almost 11 in the morning. Either Evan said something to everyone to let me sleep, or everyone took it upon themselves to not bother me. I get out of bed and changed into some old ripped jeans and one of my baggy black shirts. Grabbing my phone I walk out of my room and toward the meeting room, either everyone's in there, the gym, or at the range.

I pass the kitchen, no one in there. I could already hear people talking the closer I got to the meeting room. I look around the corner and sure enough, almost everyone is in there, the only people that were missing were Lui and Bryce, probably watching Jordan to make sure nothing happens. I walk in and was greeted by stares. Oh yeah, everyone's probably still scarred from yesterday.

"Morning sleepyhead, I told everyone to let you sleep in, figured you could use it," Evan says. Tyler begins to chuckle and points at my jeans.

"What the hell happened to your jeans, there are two big holes right at the knees." He looks up at me. I sit down in the empty seat between him and Brian and laugh along with him.

"I guess I spend soooo much time on my knees that these just kind of got worn down from all the dick sucking." He stops laughing and Craig starts choking on the water that he was drinking. In the corner of my eye, Evan was glaring at me from the head of the table.

"Anddddd she's back ladies and gentlemen." Brian chuckles and gives me a pat on the back.

At least he's treating me normal. Across the table, Autumn was holding a box of P&Q's and held it out to me. I nodded and tilted my head back a bit and opened my mouth. Her and Holly start smiling as she tosses a couple of pieces into my mouth. Brian starts cracking up at this point and claps for a second.

"Now that is a pose that I haven't seen in a while," Brian says through his laughs. A couple of other guys start laughing while Evan backhanded Brian on the back of his head.

"Hey! It's not like you haven't seen it either!" Brian exclaims while turning to a very pissed of Evan.

"Okay, enough distractions Hope. We still have a meeting to run here." Del says already getting annoyed. I groan and get up from my chair.

"Go watch the front of the building, train, make sure Jordan doesn't escape. It's the same thing every day. Just now we have Jordan to watch. I'm going to change into some shorts and then be in the gym because I know Evan's going to want me to practice fighting cause I'm at a high risk right now. Same shit different day." I look as Evan crosses his arms, ready to say something but stays silent.

"I'm not stopping her dude, just let her go," Del says quietly while looking over at Evan. I smile at him and walk out of the meeting room.

I got changed in peace but that peace quickly ended when I got to the gym and Evan was in the front explaining something to almost everyone.

"Hope, up here now, and get ready to spar," Evan calls out to me. I walk up to where Evan was while he looks around the group of guys and two girls.
