Yeji and Soobin keep teasing each other while being watch by Yeonjun who's few steps behind them. He has no choice than following Yeji. He cursed himself for forgetting his bus card that force him to watch the two kids playing in front of him.

Soobin crossed the main road and turned his body to Yeji. "Try catch me!", then he burst into laughs. Yeji gritted her teeth and step forward, trying to cross the busy main road, even though the light still red for pedestrians.

She heard a loud horn from her left, a high speed car driven towards her. She closed her eyes, already know what's going to happen.

While she's waiting to be hit, someone from her back pulled her bag, making her stepping back, losing her balance and fall. Yeji looked up, furious Yeonjun look at her sharply, obviously mad. "Are you crazy?! Do you wanna die that much?!".

Yeji avoid his gaze while rubbing her palms. "I'm sorry". From the other side, Soobin looked at her worriedly. "Yeji! Are you okay?", he shouted. Yeji just nodded, still scared of Yeonjun.

Yeji raised her hands towards Yeonjun. "Can you help me stand up?". Yeonjun just look at her hands and walk across the road when the light turns green. Yeji stand up by herself and cleaned her skirt and palm.

"Eyyyy that jerk! I was about to thank you!", she punched the air while looking at Yeonjun's back. While she was feeling herself and mad, she saw a tennis ball falling off from Yeonjun's bag. "Oh? Hey, Choi Yeonjun!". But Yeonjun ignores her. Yeji looked at the light, already turned red.

She runs towards the middle of the road and pick up the ball. Just like deja vu, she heard a loud horn from her left, a high speed car driven towards her. This time, she's positive that no one can save her, even herself.

"Hey, Choi Yeonjun!", Yeonjun heard her shouting his name from behind. He scoffed, 'huh, too late to thank me'. He's cursing and swearing in his mind at how stupid of Yeji letting herself hit by a car.

He stops after hearing a loud tyre sounds from his back. He turn his body towards the main road, only to find Yeji's body rolling on the road, full with blood. He witnessing before his own eyes, Yeji being hit by a car, and her head hit the street light pole.

"Yeji!", he removed the bag from his shoulder and run towards her. Soobin turned his body when he heard Yeonjun's shout. Yeonjun grabbed Yeji's body and put her on his lap. He slapped her face softly. "Hey Hwang Yeji, wake up!", but she didn't respond or move.

Yeonjun held her head and feel warm thick blood, her head is bleeding. Soobin squats beside them. "What happened to her?!", Soobin said with trembling voice. Yeonjun didn't answer him. "Call the ambulance, she's unconscious".

Soobin took his phone and dial the number. "H-Hello?! Is this the hospital? There's an accident here and a girl unconscious. Uh.... It's in Songpa-gu. Yes! Nearby the wet market. How long will you guys arrive? Huh? 15 minutes? Can you guys come faster? Okay! Okay, thank you!".

"They'll arrive in 15 minutes", Soobin tell Yeonjun. "What?! That's too long!", Yeonjun is getting angry and impatient. He looked around and found a tall building , [ Inje University Seoul Paik Hospital ].

"Damn, the building is right here, what took them so long?!", Yeonjun is getting breathless. Both of them are confused on how to deal with this. The girl in his arm is dying.

Without hesitation, Yeonjun carry Yeji in his arm. He can't piggyback her because he might break her bones. "What are you going to do? ", asked Soobin, stood up beside them. "I'll carry her there, it'll be faster", answered Yeonjun. The building isn't that far, they'll manage to get there first before the ambulance get here.

At this moment Soobin was really hoping that he's the one bringing Yeji to the hospital but he know he can't do that. His knees isn't fully healed after a minor accident during swimming class. He pat Yeonjun's shoulder. "Bring her safely. Save her". Yeonjun nods and started running.

With all his might, he try run as fast as he could. Yeonjun's arm filled with blood running from Yeji's head. He wanted to stop and take some deep breath, but he can't, the girl's life depended on him. "Hold on Yeji, we almost there", Yeonjun whispered .

Yeonjun reach the emergency department and put Yeji on one of the beds there. He went to the counter and talked with the nurses there. "There's a major car accident just now. And my friend is unconscious. Her head is bleading".

A minute after that, a group of doctors and nurses run towards Yeji's bed and check on her. Soobin arrived few minutes later. "How is her?". Yeonjun pointed to her bed, still speechless.

A doctor reach them, his white coat full with Yeji's blood stain. "Any of you are her relatives?".

"No we're not. W-we're just her friends", Soobin nodded, agree with Yeonjun. "The injuries in her head are severe, we need to get her to surgery as soon as possible, or we might lose her".

Yeonjun looks at Soobin. "Hey, do you have any of her family numbers? you're close with her". Soobin looked puzzled. His brain can't function properly. Then he remember something. "Ah! I have her brother's number. I met him during swimming tournament".

He type a name in his phone's contact. "Hwang Minhyun... ", he pressed the call button. Thankfully, Minhyun answered it at the third ring. "Oh, Soobin, yes. What can I help you?".

"M-Minhyun, don't get panic. But Yeji's in the emergency department now. And she really need a surgery now. We have to get your permission", Soobin tell him everything. Unlike both of them, Minhyun calmly accept it. That's why Soobin decided to call him.

"Please do everything and save her", Minhyun said. Although he said it very calmly, no one know how hurt he felt when he heard about it. He didn't ask for it, but he finally drop his tears.
