The warrior of protection

This is the end

I stepped out of the ruins of the camp. I hope everyone made it somewhere safe. "I warned you" I hear a mocking tone. I turn around "Look what you did, you could've killed everyone" she continues. "The key word there is could've" I say to her. I'm done with her. "Another 'could've' is you could've saved this camp, that woman....... You're brother". Once I heard that I snapped. "If fate was meant to turn out like that i wouldn't have been picked for the job!" I yell. She looks a little shaken, but turns her fear into anger. "Maybe.....but your fate is now death". A monster came out of the ground behind her. "I didn't want this Sydney.....and neither did Lukas" she turns around and smirks. "GET HER" she teleports away. The monster picks up a boulder and throws it. I remember this. I quickly put my arms in the shape of an x and when the bolder hits me it shatters. I jump in the air while spawning a bunch of swords and throw them at his face. He didn't seem to hurt. In Fact he just carried on throwing things at me and I kept dodging. I don't understand. How do I kill this thing if my powers don't work on it. Then i remember

The only way to kill these things is to blast it in the heart.

That's right. I remember now. I stretch out my hand so that bullets fly around it. I then charge them in his eyes. My plan here was to blind him, so that I could easily shoot him in the heart without him noticing and throwing things at me or blocking my attacks. But it wasn't bothered. It didn't flinch. What?! How is that possible? I got out my sword and tapped it on my palm, just like before. I went for his throat. Then his arms. He was covered in cuts. He tried grabbing me but he couldn't. "Can't catch me, Haha" I tease. I know he's like a huge monster, demon, thing that wants to rip my head off, but I want to have some fun. When I'm done, I speed away. I look back at him, still nothing. "How is this possible?" I whisper to myself. "My attacks are deadly to any mortal, AND immortal being. So why are my attacks not working? I throw my sword into his eye and then call it back. Nothing. This doesn't make sense. Wait a second. I remember the scroll that talked about my powers. "The warrior of protection attacks are deadly to any mortal being, but just in case they can also be used on immortal beings. However, If the warrior of protection for some reason has to battle an immortal being the Immortal must take a mortal/ human like presence. The immortal must have had a past life on earth, via human or animal. If the warriors of protection must fight an immortal being that was not once mortal, she will have a charged up laser to aim at a weak point on the enemy. This weak point is the heart of most of these immortals. The only other immortal that was not once mortal, that does not have the heart as they're weak point are the 6 powerful gods. The warrior of protection we never, under no circumstances, be able to defeat a god with her powers". This means that the reason I can't hurt him is because he was not once mortal. So maybe i should call it a.....they. I need to just go straight for the heart. Without hesitation, I jumped and charged up this laser, blast thing.....they never said what it was called, it was really bright, and orange. The monster notices. it starts marching over. My laser is still charging. It gets closer. Finally she is close enough to grab me. It reaches its hand out.........

And that's when I shot the laser straight through him. And he disappeared. After there was silence

More silence

Then out of nowhere

"NO!" I hear a scream. I spin around only to be met with a hit in the stomach by thin air. I flew back. The demon makes a fireball in her hands. "I swore that this would be the end of Sydney perez" she stops. I fail to get back up. She puts the fireball above her head as if she is about to throw it. "I WILL MAKE SURE YOU DIE". I shut my eyes. A cold air swoops past my face. Then I hear water. Then I hear a very loud scream. "Not on my watch you won't". I recognize that voice. I open my eyes to see the back of someone with kind of long brown hair. The if projecting water from her hands and aiming it at the demon. Demons. Hate. water. The demon continues to scream. "FINE, you win......but I'll be back" she yells. Then she teleports back to hell I hope.

It's obvious the person in front of me is the elementress, but she is also.......she turns around. "EL!"
