The warrior of protection

Hi :)

so I put the second book on hold because I really wanted to rewrite this book and rewrite some things. The books I'm posting on here are just the concept for this series. I really like this concept and want to publish it. so the second concept book won't be finished until I finish the rewrite. If you want to know what that's looking like here is the first scene of the first book rewritten. 

I'm not usually one to run from a fight, at least not anymore. But what am I supposed to do when there is a boulder coming at my head at 100 miles per hour. When I joined the army, When I decided I wanted to actually be useful to society and stop crying like a little baby, I swore to myself that I wouldn't back down from anyone or anything...but this thing, what do you do with this thing. This is nothing like I've ever dealt with before. I wasn't trained to deal with something like this. Now you are probably asking 'What exactly are you dealing with here?'. Well to put it in short, I'm not 100% sure myself. All I know is that one day, everything was normal, Cars were gliding along the roads, children were still attending school, and everyone at the base was training. The normal everyday life you would expect. But the next day this giant scary looking monster started attacking. Neighborhoods, businesses, and landmarks started falling until the military, which would be me, was called into action. We've tried everything, but the most damage we've done is make it angry. That brings us to the present time. Me running from a threat. I don't even look behind me, I just run. "Ough" A noise escapes my lips as I fall to the ground. I don't even have enough time to process what happened, that's probably why I didn't even try to get up when all of a sudden...
