Baekhyun wasn't too sure what it was. Maybe it was the sound of Chanyeol's heartbeat, or his strong arms around his waist. Maybe it was the soft breathing or skin after their warm bath. Either way, Baekhyun felt more comfortable than he had ever been as he watched the morning sun peak through the windows.

The fairy stared lovingly over the prince. How peaceful he look when he's sleeping, no frowned, no serious face, just peace. Baekhyun then slowly trails his hand towards the prince's face, caressing it slightly.

“Your highness?” his quiet romantic morning was interrupted by a knock at the door. 'sigh'

Such a Cockblocker...

He felt Chanyeol stir under him and grumble something inaudible before barking a 'What?'.“The King wishes to speak with you immediately. Please dress yourself quickly and see him in the throne room.”

“What do you think he wants?” Baekhyun asked, rolling out from under the covers. He somehow managed to get his feet on the floor consedering how wild Chanyeol go on with him last night and quickly went looking for his 'princess' clothing. He had a feeling 'Princess Baekhyeon' would have to come out to play today, so he needed to find the proper attire.

“With my father, you never know. He's always up to something, Gosh i hate it so much” Chanyeol sighed, sitting up in the bed, “He's like a granpa who can't sit still.”

The pair got ready and they soon headed down the hallways to the throne room. Baekhyun had been there several times, but it never ceased to amaze him. The way the stained glass windows reflected the light, the way the jewels on the throne lit up the room, the way the plush rug led up to the grand chairs. It was all so royal that Baekhyun always felt severely out of place.

“You called, father?” Chanyeol said, taking Baekhyun by the hand as soon as the king's eyes fell on him.

“We are going to our summer home for a week. I had originally intended for Princess Yuri to accompany you, however its seem like you have already picked a date for the occasion.

"I want you and Princess Baekhyeon to gather up groceries and supplies for the trip. Go to town and get the supplies on this list, as well as anything else you may require. As soon as you return we will leave by carriage. I will tell Princess Yuri to meet us there and it will give us a chance to bond further. At the end of this trip I trust that you will have picked a bride and proposed engagement to her.”

Normally Chanyeol would have argued with his father, but the happiness of the day before had not worn off and he was in no mood to argue.

Instead he agreed and dragged he fairy to the town with him. Baekhyun really didn't seem to mind, since that was where he had grown up. He loved the business, he loved the vendors trying to sell their wares, he even loved the sketchy areas where he used to work. No matter what, it would always be his home.

“What do we need to get?” Baekhyun asked, linking his arms with Chanyeol. In return Chanyeol smiled at him and looked at the list his father had given him. Baekhyun always loved when Chanyeol smiled, because he didn't get to see it often until they began dating.

“It looks like groceries for the most part,” Chanyeol scanned the list, “Do you know any good vendors?”

Baekhyun nodded quickly, “Every vendor has a speciality. We'll have the best dinner yet when we get to the summer home~” the fairy happily murmured.

“You sure are excited,” Chanyeol chuckled as they started to get the items on their list.

“I know of the royal summer home. It's where the butterflies congregate during the summer~” Baekhyun now looked like he was about to burst with excitement.
