Your worst battle is between what you know and what you feel. But to Baekhyun, its kinda complicated...
Far away in a mighty kingdom, where the forests are greenish and untracked, the rivers very breezy and sparkling, there lived a once bubbly fairy...

Alas, the fairy felt like he was dying.

No, dying was an understatement.

Baekhyun felt like he was living in a freakin hell. His skin was burning pale. His body had been acting in a weird way. Baekhyun was very weary, Though tears no longer flow, his eyes are tired of weeping and his heart is sick of...everything.

It had been two months since he left the palace, and every single day he just got worse and worse. It started as simple headaches or stomach aches, nothing to worry about. He grew so weak to the point he stopped going for a walks in the garden or around the small cottage and became bedridden, but he was still able to read or draw.

Much to his despise, days turns into weeks and Baekhyun simply lay in bed, his wings dull and drooped and his skin sickly pale. Baekhyun had lost weight during the past months. He couldn't even sit up to eat properly, the servants needing to spoon feed him soft foods like a baby.

A baby.

The fairy could tell that was the cause, which was the only reason he forced himself to live any longer. Not only had his stomach grown despite his disintegrating health, but he could just feel it. He knew there was another living being inside of him, call it an instinct, but he simply could just...feel it. If there was any reason for Baekhyun to continue living, that was it. He felt strange, but he knew that it could only be from one person, so the thought hurt and healed at the same time.

Baekhyun honestly was having a mental breakdown...

He's going to have a baby, he's going to be a mommy... And Chanyeol's the daddy...and yet...

Sometimes he could greedily smile to himself at the thought of raising a child with Chanyeol, a thought that he knew perhaps that would never come to life. He often thought about what a great father and king Chanyeol would be, an image sight of Chanyeol playing with their baby keep replying in his mind like a broken dvd which would often cause him to sleep painfully. He didn't even have the ability to cry anymore, especially since breathing had become painful.

Little did he knew that he wasn't the only one who became concerned. The King himself was beginning to panic with each update on the fairy's health condition. The first problem was Chanyeol had absolutely zero interest in Yuri, and Yuri was not doing anything to pursue the prince. The situation itself is giving the King controversy battle with himself.

The second problem was even though he had taken Baekhyun away, Chanyeol was still looking after him. Everyday non-stop. If ever Chanyeol found him in that sate, the said prince would surely going to outburst knowing the King was to blame and would pin the problem on him.

He had done everything to keep Baekhyun healthy. He had called the best doctors in all the land to care for him, but all of them were in vain by what was happening. No one had a clue how to cure the sickly fairy, and it was sending the king into a dilemma.

Prince Chanyeol would never take the throne if he ever let Baekhyun die, that was an undeniable fact..

At last, after weeks of monitoring chanyeol and his royal friends searching for the 'missing' fairy, the King decided enough was enough. He approached Chanyeol during breakfast one morning, watching as he seemed to be making a map out of his fruit and oatmeal.
