The aircraft carrier cruised at an easy 30 knots over the vast open ocean. Chris sat on the front of the deck and looked up at the sky lost in thought. Quinn came over and sat down next to him and said, "what you thinking about?" Chris responded, "I'm glad we survived and everything and that we're going home but something's still bothering me. Someone controlled that megalodon and I think it might've been the devil or something. Besides all of that, what ever happened to Rosy?"

Quinn looked kind of surprised when Chris had mentioned that name, it was a man from their past. Rosy was someone who was a forgotten friend. Chris could tell Quinn was surprised and said, "I'm just curious, last I heard he was actually discharged from the military because he messed around with an underaged girl, then supposedly he kept doing it over the internet, deleted and remade his server like three times, ghosted me entirely, deleted his discord account, and seemed to disappear off the face of the earth. It's funny that that's the same guy that was one of the people who helped get me out of the darkest time in my life, and then he straight up just leaves and supposedly he wound up in jail but I wonder if he ever got out."

Quinn said, "I'm honestly not sure, I tried to stay away from the drama and just keep my friends close and together. At the end of the day, that's all I cared about." Chris responded, "that's fair enough, still I wonder what ever happened to him. I still remember the bad dreams I had that had him in them, I remember how he drew himself with a hoodie that had rabbit ears and a very basic ghost on the front that also had rabbit ears, and a mask that looked like a skull that he claimed was a ghost mask." Quinn hugged Chris and said, "well, all I know is you're my friend and you're still here, so let's not talk about him anymore and go get some supper."

Chris and Quinn got up and went under the deck to get supper and talk with the rest of the crew mates about everything that had happened. They were finally on their way home, but unknown to them, there was a welcoming party waiting. It wasn't a friendly welcome but a welcome none the less.

They landed and unpacked the aircraft carrier. Another commander came up to Quinn and asked where the submarines were that had been sent with. She told him and of course he didn't believe the story, however one of the crew mates came forward with a video on his phone of the monstrous shark's last attack and then the commander believed the story. Once everything was unpacked everyone was relieved of duty and told to have a safe drive back home.

Chris grabbed Quinn's bag and carried it for her. His stuff was lost in the war that he ran from, but that didn't mean he couldn't be a gentleman. Nobody knew there was a car in the parking lot that held a difficult threat to stop. It was a rusty four door, white in color, looked completely in place with the rest of the cars and was overlooked.

Inside the car sat one Rosy, dressed head to toe in a military outfit. In the passenger seat was a black, humanoid mass that seemed to be made of clouds. The mass spoke to Rosy and said, "you know the plan then?" Rosy nodded and said, "kill the chosen one, if possibly bring him to you alive and do whatever I want to the rest." The mass spoke slowly, "good, don't deviate from the plan or the chosen one isn't the only one you'll have to fear."

The mass got out of the car and sank into a crack in the parking lot leaving Rosy in the car by himself with all the weapons and explosives he could find. He got out of the car with an assault rifle and a deer rifle over his back. He had one grenade in his shirt pocket and 3 clips for each gun in every other pocket he could find. Rosy climbed the ladder of the nearest building and set up on the top, low to the roof so he wasn't as noticeable.

Rosy pulled the pin on the grenade and threw it as a distraction. Quinn and Chris were walking by a metal and stone building when Chris saw the grenade hit the ground. He pushed Quinn into the building and closed the door behind them, the grenade when off right after the door had been closed. Quinn asked, "what was that for?" Chris looked out the small sliver of a window on the metal door of the building to see one person who had been injured by the grenade get shot in the head. Soon anyone who was in the open started to get shot in the head.

Chris hugged Quinn and said, "don't leave this building until I come to get you." He grabbed the pistol Quinn had on her side and reached for the door as he gave control to Carboss. Carboss was always the better fighter of the two of them. Quinn grabbed his wrist and said, "why do I need to stay in here?" Carboss turned around and said, "Chris took your pistol and gave me orders to lock you in here so you are safe. He doesn't want you to get hurt by whatever's out there. So please, just stay in the room, and don't bother looking out the window, there's nothing there to see."

Quinn let go of Carboss's wrist and he left, looking the door behind him. Another shot rang out and a bullet wized by his head hitting the building. He ran for the building the shot had come from and leaned up against the wall. He looked at the shadow of the building and watched a humanoid figure stand up with a big gun, the figure leaned over and stood back up with a different gun shadow. The shadow slowly got lower and lower, meaning it was backing up away from the ledge.

Carboss pulled his pistol out of his side holder and turned the safety off on both his pistol and Quinn's. He knew he was going to need the best chance he could to hit whatever was on that roof. The shadow got taller very fast, meaning it was running to the edge. Rosy jumped over the edge and did a front flip as he opened fire. Carboss ran to the right for cover as he returned fire. The difference between Rosy and Carboss was that Carboss only had what was in those two pistols for bullets, Rosy had 3 more clips to go through when he runs out in the first clip.

Carboss checked both guns, He had fired off all the bullets in both. He pocked his head out and threw both guns at Rosy, then went back into cover. Rosy just dodged them and kept walking closer. Chris talked to Carboss inside their head, he said, "you better have a plan B because we're in deep trouble, like really deep trouble." Carboss said, "shut up kid I can handle this, just let me focus."

Rosy was right on the other side of the cover now. Carboss took a deep breath and jumped over the cover, kicking the assault rifle out of Rosy's hands in the process. Now it was a fist fight that was still slightly fair, or at least Carboss thought. Rosy's military clothes burned away and he put on a skull mask. He was wearing the very same hoodie Chris had described on the boat, he never changed it despite all the years that had passed. Rosy put the hood up and pulled out a switchblade, he swung at Carboss, one swipe after the other.

Carboss kept dodging as he backed up slightly, then he had an idea and said, "kid, when I tell you to, fall down." Chris was confused but agreed to whatever plan Carboss had. "Now," Carboss said as he split himself into a completely different body from Chris and tackled Rosy to the ground. Chris fell back and looked over and what had happened, Carboss and Chris were very similar, in fact the only difference was that Chris had white feathery wings on his back and Carboss had grey, leathery wings on his back.

Rosy and Carboss rolled around as Rosy kept swinging at Carboss and Carboss kept returning swings with a fist. Chris ran over and grabbed the assault rifle that Rosy dropped and checked how many bullets were left, he then shouted at Carboss, "there's only one bullet left in this thing, I need a clear shot to stun him so he can't hurt us." Carboss knew even though Chris didn't like Rosy, he wouldn't kill Rosy unless Rosy was a threat.

Rosy pinned Carboss down and looked over to Chris, flames slowly started to curl out of the mask where Rosy's mouth and eyes were. Rosy let out a bone chilling screech and charged at Chris. Chris raised the gun to his shoulder as Rosy jumped with the knife in hand behind his head, Chris closed his eyes and pulled the trigger.

Rosy fell to the ground dead with a bullet between his eyes. That was the end of that, Chris looked around and saw nearly half the people had died and the other half had been hiding in cover as they watched what had happened. Carboss got up and rejoined with Chris to form one person again, giving Chris control. Chris immediately ran over and unlocked the door Quinn was behind and hugged her, putting her face into his shoulder so she couldn't see what had happened. Everyone slowly came out and walked over to Chris, thanking him for stopping the sniper.

Everyone helped clean up the docks and complied with the investigators, once again, the person who had got the megalodon on his phone also got everything that had happened at the docks on his phone and showed the investigators. Once the investigation was over everyone was allowed to go home, and so they did. Nobody really wanted to discuss what had happened and nobody really knew what happened either, so everyone just went home speechless. Chris did what he could to comfort Quinn on the way home but little did he know this was just the first of many battles that would break out.
