Carboss the kickass

Chapter 11: Outrun the Devil

The group went through the weather, sliding every now and again as they did. Oreo spun out and everyone stopped to help pull her RX-7 out of the ditch. She said she couldn't drive it so Chris offered to drive it for her, and said the spin out was mostly due to the fact the RX-7 still had summer tires on in the snow. The group kept going and soon made it out of the blizzard, however Chris couldn't keep his foot off the gas pedal of the RX-7, sliding it every chance he got and bouncing the rotary motor off of the rev limiter and letting the rotary engine scream.

Of course, with that much noise coming from a motor, the figures easily tracked the noise to the group and out of the blizzard. Anu was in the passenger seat of the FF and was first to spot one of the figures, he got on the radio communication and said, "Chris, we got a figure towards the back of the line. It's hard to tell which one it is because it's flying so far up in the air." Chris returned on the radio, "alright, so we have to keep going. Just keep watching it and see if it does anything."

The figure circled a few times and went back into the blizzard. Anu got back on the radio and said, "uh, Chris? We might have a problem." Chris asked what happened and Anu explained. Chris responded with, "alright, then let's pull over and prepare if we should need to fight." The group pulled over, They loaded Daphr's pit bike back into the s10 and had Daphr drive the RX-7. It was decided that Chris would fly from there until they got clear of everything in case anything should happen.

They kept going and watched the blizzard almost disappear on the horizon when there was a loud roar from the direction of the storm. Everyone went quiet and watched the mirrors cautiously as they drove away from the storm. A large black cloud seemed to cover what they could see of the blizzard. The cloud poured out of the blizzard and formed into what looked like a giant human-like figure.

The figure roared again and picked up a near by tree, uprooting it and throwing it on handed towards the group. Chris, Carboss, and Needless split and did what they could to slow the tree before it got to the group. Everyone stepped on the gas and tried to gain as much speed as they could in the snowy Canada landscape. Carboss suggested an idea, "hey kid, what if me and Needless combine, take the evil figures you have with us, disguise ourselves as you, and get caught. Chris said, "lets send Needless with all the figures if we must." Needless said, "that's fair, I mean after all I was only here to help the author try out a Deadpool like fourth wall breaking method."

Chris said, "he's also weird so, not much lost." The three of them combined, when they split Needless took the figures and was disguised as Chris. Carboss and Chris stayed together disguised as Carboss and stayed with the group while Needless went back to the large, black, cloudy figure. The figure grabbed Needless in it's hand and walked back into the blizzard with the other figures, allowing everyone else to escape to a safe spot.
