Chapter 8: A Battle of a Trip

Everyone waited for Chris to speak, and when he did he said, "alright, we're all together. Obviously something is after us, we don't know what or why." Jaggy then said, "wait, what about Bug and Laney, do they know what's happening?" Chris responded, "actually, I just was about to talk about that, we need to go to Canada to meet up with them, so eat and pack your stuff because we're taking a road trip."

Everyone ate and packed up, then Chris said, "do you guys have a vehicle to get to Canada in?" Hades said, "of course we do, it's in the garage." Chris opened the door to the garage that was connected to the side of the house, inside was a 2003 2500 3dr chevy van with an extended rear, it was covered in rust and the front bumper fell off after he opened the door. He went back to the group and said, "ok, so on the one hand, that would be better then super cars and sports cars in a blizzard, but that thing is literally falling apart."

Dream walked over to the s10, pulled out a toolbox, and said, "I'll see what I can do with whatever I have for tools." She went to the garage and left everyone else to finish packing and loading the vehicles. After they had finish packing Dream came in and said, "honestly I doubt it will even start but we can try it." Anu grabbed the keys and walked out to the garage, sure enough the van wouldn't start. They gave up and left the van in the Garage. Jaggy, Anu, and Hades all piled into Sophie's SUV. Luna went with Sly, Spoon went with Oreo, and Ice went with Daphr. Chris said, "alright, here's the plan, we're going to do a convoy. Me, Needless, and Carboss will lead on our bikes, we will be sliding all over the place but it's not impossible. Daphr in the Supra behind us, then Oreo in the RX7, then Sly in the FF, and Dream in the back with the s10. Does everyone understand?"

Everyone nodded and Chris said, "alright, when we hit snow don't forget to be easy with the gas and break, we don't need people sliding off the road and locking up wheels." Everyone got into the cars and followed the three motorcycles out. As the group got closer to the border they could tell there was a massive blizzard rolling in making it even more difficult to get into Canada, but not impossible. They got into about an inch of snow when they reached the border, but nobody had any issues yet, and it was a slight wind with a few flakes. They all stopped at the border and got out to talk about the plan. Needless said, "it's like there's a hard place put infront of us that we can't get into easily so that we have to stay here or risk our lives to escape."

Chris chuckled, then Carboss said, "wait a minute, doesn't Needless break the fourth wall?" Chris said, "yeah he does. Wait a minute, what did you mean by escape?" A shadowy figure flew in and picked up Chris in a flash, and Needless said, "that's what I meant. Alright, now we save him and escape." Carboss and Needless got on their bikes and pressed a button, the bikes transformed and formed an armor around them. Needless opened his wings and took off after the shadowy figure and Chris, meanwhile Carboss turned to everyone and said, "go into the storm, hopefully nothing can follow you through there." He opened his wings and took flight too.

Everyone got back to the cars and started the engines. Anu said, "that's it? we aren't going to help them save our friend?" Sly said, "we know when they need help, and right now we would just get in the way, it's better to sit this one out." Anu said, "alright fine, we'll go into the storm then." The group left into the storm to find Bug and Laney, they left Chris's supermoto for when he finished the fight.

Meanwhile Carboss and Needless followed the shadowy figure along the side of the blizzard, Needless said, "what information can you get on the shadow?" Carboss said, "looks like a female, long white hair, skinny red tail with a point on the end, red wings, and I think a crop top and a very short skirt." Needless said, "alright, out of all the friends who do we know that's lewd enough to wear that?" Carboss said, "Zeta, Luna, and Jaggy." Needless said, "alright, while Zeta has blue wings, and Luna would probably have black wings, so that leaves Jaggy as the most likely fit."

Carboss said, "I agr-," he was cut off by the red tail that was now wrapped around he neck and pulling him down. Needless charged at the figure. The figure started to do barrel rolls and sent both Chris and Carboss flying into Needless, making all three start falling to the ground before it flew off. Carboss and Needless managed to get control back mid air, they each took one of Chris's wrists and slowly flew back to Chris's motorcycle and landed. They turned their armor back into their motorcycles and all three motors roared to life. Chris said, "let's catch the rest of the group before that thing comes back, with any hope it won't be able to follow us into the blizzard." Carboss and Needless nodded in agreement and the three of them started into the blizzard, following the tracks of their friends vehicles.
