Chapter 5: Friendly Reunion

Daphr pulled up to a huge gate that slowly opened, he drove in and went to a giant garage and parked. Quinn got out and was immediately was hugged by two of her other friends from the past, Oreo and Sly. The mechanic came over to see both bumpers falling off the Supra and said, "what the hell did y'all do to this?" Daphr said, "it's only bumpers at least, I could've destroyed the whole car." The mechanic nodded and went to the parts area to find new bumpers.

Chris said, "alright, come on let's give Quinn a tour of this place, starting with the garage because we're already here." He pointed at the bright red Supra and said, "clearly, this is Daphr's car." He then walked down the line of cars to the next, a blue 2017 Ferrari FF, to which Sly said, "this is my car, it's nothing special but it works." They walked to the next, a yellow 1998 RX7 and Oreo said, "this is mine, it's also a learning vehicle and it's 2JZ swapped because the original motor is to difficult to work on." They went to the next vehicle, a baby blue 1991 regular cab long box s10. A girl with blue hair rolled out from underneath it and stood up saying, "I'm Dream, this happens to be my truck and I also help the mechanic sometimes."

They went to the next car, a wide-bodied, matte velvet red R-35 GTR, Chris handed the keys to Quinn and said, "that one's for you, it's been waiting for a while collecting dust." They went to the next car, an R-34 GTR, blue chrome with a matte carbon fiber roof, mirrors, hood, and wing. Chris said, "this one's mine, simple but it still hauls ass." The next vehicle bay held four motorcycles, A blacked out pit bike, a blue and black supermoto, a red and black stunt built naked sports bike, and a 1981 Harley Davidson Sportster Milwaukee Edition with original paint. Chris said, "the pit bike belongs to Daphr, the supermoto and stunt bike are mine and Carboss's respectively, I guess he can have the stunt bike since those are his colors. The only reason I have the Harley is because it used to be my dad's and it's loud as fuck due to drag pipes, so it's fun."

They walked through the rest of the castle showing Quinn all the rooms, eventually getting to her room, Chris said, "you'll stay here for the night, it's getting late and it would just be safer for you to stay here overnight. We can get you home tomorrow morning after breakfast." Quinn said, "alright, I can stay one night." She hugged everyone and went to bed. Chris then said, "alright, everyone get some sleep, tomorrow we're doing a convoy to drop off Quinn, I can't guarantee we weren't followed coming home so it's better safe then sorry, sleep well and be prepared."

The next day everyone packed up their cars, the pit bike and supermoto were put in the box of the S10 and the Harley and the stunt bike went on a trailer behind it. They all rolled out and started going down the road, they stopped at a gas station and filled on gas, grabbing snacks before they payed and left. Quinn led the convoy, followed by Chris, then Daphr, then Dream, then Oreo, and finally Sly at the rear. They all had CB radios to communicate as they drove, and as they left town Sly said, "guys, be prepared there's a large black cloud going over the town we just left and it appears to be blacking out the sun."

Chris said, "alright then, let's go as soon as possible." The convoy got on the interstate and started the long journey to get back to Quinn's house. Every rest stop they made was some kind of tourist attraction. They would stretch, use the bathroom, throw away all trash, and top off on snacks and gas before getting back on the road. It seemed like a normal road trip, little did they know it wouldn't remain that way for long.
