Emily's body was covered in sweat, she was sweating profusely and her chest was heaving heavily. She coughed out as she regains her consciousness.

Her worried mother and father were hovering over her while her daughter Allen was rubbing her warm hands against to her own cold hands, sharing not only warmth of her body but warmth of her heart.

She really cares about me now, doesn’t she?

Emily blinked to get over her foggy vision,She smiled at Allen.

"Honey, get up. I'm ok now."  Allen gives a startled look as she was pull out of her thoughts.  She looks at her mom with heavy concern.

"Mom are you ok? Do you want some water?" Allen asks but before Emily could even reply,Allen bolted up straight and went to the kitchen.

Emily smiled to herself and got up with what little Strength she had.

"Emily, how are you feeling now? Should i call a doctor?" Emily's mother asked with a cold tone, but she knew she was concerned.

Meanwhile Emily's father was fussing over her. "Mrs.Knef, turn the AC on right now.  Can't you see my daughter is sweating? Allen! Add some ice cubes to that water!"

"Sure Grandpa." Allen yelled back in reply.

Distracted by all this,Emily's mother clears her throat and asks her again.
"Y-yeah mom,I'm fine. Just a dizzy spell." she dismissively said.

Emily's mother didn’t look quite convinced. But what choice did she have?

I should have been careful. The doctor said to avoid any hyper activity that would cause her breathing problem. She can't let Allen know! This burden was only for her to carry, not Allen.

Few moments later Allen was back with water and.....Lemon?

"What Are you planning to do with that lemon?" Emily's mom questioned her in a confused manner. Emily and her dad stared at her dumbfounded.

Allen on the other hand was unfazed by their befuddled expression.

"I read on internet, having something bitter can reduce the haziness of head and make the person feel better. " she told all this as if it was the most obvious thing.

"Ummm...honey...that's a hangover trick. We Don't even have sanitizers let alone alcohol in this household....." Her grandpa said awkwardly.

"Oh.." Allen's cheek started to heat up in sudden embarrassment.

"It's ok. I'll make a lemon juice with it. It will be suitable then" Her grandma brushed off the topic and took the lemon from her and went to kitchen. Emily,Allen and Emily's dad all looked at each other with awestruck reaction.

That was nice of her. And that was unexpected.  All of them had the same thought at her sudden goodness of heart.

Allen sat beside her mum and held her hands. "You scared me there mum. I'm always causing you stress, aren’t i?" she looks down guiltily.

Emily reaches out lifts her chin up so that they make eye contact.

"Nonsense. It's just a silly dizzy spell." She assured her.

"That's right.  You are a nice kid Allen." Her grandpa consoled her and patted her back. Allen sighed. Me? Nice? I wish i was.
