Few months later~
Allen's POV
"Oh my god! You look so beautiful!" My mom praises me as I descend down the stairs like the queen I am.
Today's the prom day. My sophomore year prom! I'm excited. If your wondering who my prom partner is it's one and only,my knight in shining armor, my princess charming on white horse, my best friend Danielle.
I look down and smile at my mother. It's been good lately. Really good between me and my mother. Now I don't feel the empty feeling anymore. I do have someone who loves me for who I am. My mom. I love her and I'm so grateful to have her as a mom.
At past I used to behave very badly to my mom. My mom's been paying me extra attention, being affectionate. Too affectionate sometimes. For instance...
The waiter comes and puts our meal down in front of us. Saliva is literally pouring out of my mouth as I look at the dish. And then I look at my mom.
"Mom,is it really okay for us to spend on such things? Don't we have bills?" I ask. The last thing I want is my mother over working herself. She's doing 3 jobs to cry out loud.
"Don't worry sweetie. You dig in" she says and I nod.
I start munching on my salad I feel uneasy as if someone's staring at me. I hate it when people stares at me when I eat. Its awkward.
My mother notices my uneasiness."what's wrong?" She asks.
And my eyes automatically goes on to the waiter staring at me. I squirm in my seat under his stare.
"Hey you! Don't stare at her and do your work. Can't you see she's eating?!" My mom snaps.
I choke on my food.
See. This is what I meant.
"Allen be careful. Don't Stan your dress okay? It's on rent." She warns me and I nod.
A real prom dress would've cost a fortune.
After she takes my photographs Dany and chase arrive.
"Hello madam." Chase says politely.
"Hello, son of Mr.Navan" my mom remarks.
Yeah they still don't like each other.
"Ooh. The temperature's high in here. Mom vs Chase huh?" Dany teases me and I roll my eyes at her.
"Oh pleas-" dany cuts me short and continues "I mean look at them" she says. Ugh.
"Y-you look nice Allie" Chase stutters and I blush as everyone's eyes fell on me.
Dany nudges me by my side "ooh you got yourself a new contender huh" she teases and I stomp at her leg with my heals.
Ha! Take that!
My mother takes picture of all of us and gives a warm smile to me and Dany. Chase, he's a different case.
After our so called photoshoot, Dany and Chase head out to chase's Car and i wear my heels.
"Sweetie, you know I love you" mom says and kisses my forehead. I nod and kiss her cheeks.
I'm still not ready to say "I love you" yet. The last person I told it to, has left me.
