Where do I began. I'm sitting on my couch in the afternoon at 3pm listening to my 1003 song playlist. Yeah its a lot, but its from every youtube video I listened to that I might've liked. I made that playlist because someone thought the youtube kids ordeal will remove tons of videos I liked. Lets just say in December many days were wasted doing that. Anyway this phrase I hate it so much. This saying just annoys me. Every story I read on wattpad literally has it and it is so cliche. At first I thought it was fine and I'm probably a hypocrite right now. When I thought it was okay I apparently added that in one of my books. I can't believe myself. How idiotic was I to do some stupid cliche thing as that? I know why people say you shouldn't follow trends for the sake of it. Because it ends up leading to something bad. Well it did. I ended up hating it. My stupid self. I have a feeling in the far future I'm going to look back at some of this and laugh so much I'll be crying at how cringy and embarrassing it is. The last one took 2-3 hours. I hope this one will take a shorter time. Though I was distracted reading a book too so there is that. But atlas welcome to another rant because I want to.
You know the saying, I know the saying, anyone who read a cliche romantic book knows the saying "I'm Not Like Every Girl" and its annoying. It's so not true and that is what irritates me. The protagonist the nerd, the quiet girl, the girl who isn't popular and has her friends does something. It could be anything and ends up getting noticed by the popular jock, badboy, or some guy who everyone in the highschool likes. Or they could simply be neighbors or have to do something together. You know those stories. And then the guy says something to her and then she always responds with "Yea, I'm not like every girl." Its stupid. Because every wattpad girl says that and you are the same as those girls. Then later they end of falling for the guy and then they are like every girl. They claim they aren't but honestly they are. Most wattpad girls are similar. I'm not using the word same because no one is the same. Everyone is different.
Yeah this is honestly probably a short rant because the phrase is short and after awhile you don't know what to say unless you wanna go on and on about how I hate it. Then count me in because that phrase is seriously irritating and some characters say it and it doesn't fit their personality. Like a tomgirl or a badgirl might randomly say it and I'm thinking that does not fit for them to compare themselves to others. I'm sorry I just think of them as the ultimate girls who don't care. The tomboys wear what is comfortable and not giving a crap what someone else thinks. They follow their own style and can joke around and maybe like sports or have more guy friends. Okay that is totally stereotyping which I didn't plan to but Im saying they are kind of some of my favorite ones because I don't wear much makeup and what is in style these days. So I kinda relate. Then the badgirls those edgy girls who doesnt give a minute. They are funny and break rules and not afraid for trouble. But I kinda like stories where they end up falling for a badgirl or just a jock or something. I know everyone is like Opposites Attract. Well you know what I think? That's crap. It not real except maybe in books and movies. But that besides the point I have experience. This person who was opposite of me hated me and you know what I did. I hated them back we were opposites. I don't know what I did to make them hate me and the feeling was mutual and then I got tired of it and I was like lets just tolerate each other. Sometimes I would even say how about we don't talk to each other and then he'll make a snide comment and I was thinking 'is he serious' and we got into arguments. He'll insult me and I say something back. Then everyone would have to quiet us. And it was his fault like why couldn't he shut up or be like a normal human and not talk to me. Anyway. But sometimes people similar are good for each other too and its more interesting. Not every story has that. Most the time its opposites, but has anyone seen any popular or good books with both characters being a bad girl and bad boy? They are some of my favorite. Its rare and they will fight like brother and sister and what is better than that.
Wow I started talking about a hated cliche phrase to my favorite types of characters. Yeah once I get to editing the cover I'm just gonna change the name to COVID-19 Bordom: Rants of Wattpad Cliches. Then it sound more fitting. I'm only doing this because of the dumb virus and I'm thinking next time I'm going to rant about the virus. How stupid and annoying the pandemic is especially for some countries where people cant work because stuff are closing. It might be political with how the virus is. Not like elections and rulers political but the political like with certain topics. Also don't hate on me. This is my opinion and anyone hate on me with my opinions but I don't want any death threats or anything just because I believe a certain way with the virus.
Also I made a signature I have gotten lazy and didn't want to type my name every single time and it looks great so here it is:
