A week later...

Steve's POV:

After a week of being in the hospital, which I'm sick and tired of being in it so many times, Soda and I return home with Natalie. I love my daughter, I'm so glad Soda is the father.

We arrive home, and I have Natalie in my arms, and Sodapop carries a baby carrier seat and her baby bag. When we enter, I show Natalie her new room, which isn't quite ready yet. All we need is baby girl toys, a baby bed and to paint her room pink.

"Where will she sleep in the meantime?" I ask Soda.

"Don't worry, Darry said that he bought a baby bed for her to sleep in. It didn't cost much, so that's good."

"That's very good." We laugh a little. Natalie sneezes a little, and it was so cute, "Hey, hand me a tissue, she has some boogers coming out of her nose."

He hands me a tissue, and I wipe her nose with it. She scrunches her nose when I wipe it. She's so adorable. I kiss her forehead.

"Can I hold her?" Soda asks.

"Yeah," I say giving Natalie to Soda. He smiles at her and I though of an idea. "Hey, can we take her to the park?"

"Are you sure? I mean, you're probably still in pain from the surgery."

"I'll be fine, I'll bring a bottle of water and the pain killers if my stomach hurts again."

"Okay, let's go."

I take Natalie from Soda, and he grabs her baby carrier seat and the baby bag and places it next to her car seat. I put her in the seat and buckle her in, then we drive to the park.

When we arrive, Soda parks and we exit the car and I place Natalie in her baby carrier seat, and we walk to a nearby bench. While we sit, I watch the little kids play in the playground.

"I hope one day, Natalie gets along with kids like they are." I say to Soda.

"Me too. Do you want something to eat? There's a fruit truck over there."

"No thanks."

Soda walks away and waits in the sort of long line. I check on Natalie and she's peacefully sleeping. "You're so pretty." I whisper to her. I gently stroke her soft dark brown hair.

Just then, a lady comes to me, "Excuse me, but do you know where the Dairy Queen is? I'm new into town."

"Yeah," I say standing up to her, "Here, you take a right onto Brick Lane, then you walk 2 blocks, then you will turn left then walk another 2 blocks and it'll be on your right."

"Thank you, you're too sweet."

I smile and wave at her as she says goodbye to me. I turn around towards Natalie, and I immediately notice the worst thing ever; she's gone.

"Natalie?...Natalie?...My baby...MY BABY! WHERE'S MY BABY?" I start bawling my eyes out, "MY BABY! I WANT MY BABY! NATALIE!!"

Soda immediately runs to me, "What's wrong?! Where's Natalie?!"

"SHE'S GONE SODA! SHE'S GONE!" I yell crying in Soda's shirt, I can hear him start crying. My baby is gone!
