chapter 6: Kyungyeon rumors

Nayeon's POV

I am current at Art class.

As I sat on my seat, someone took the seat beside me.

"Hi Nayeon!" I turned to see Kyungsoo.

Actually, me and Kyungsoo have been childhood friends with Bambam ever since were 2nd year in highschool.

I wasn't that famous before and I was super shy. The two of them talked to me and then not long, we became friends.

But ever since I got famous, both of them started distancing to avoid destroying my image and reputation.

"Hi Kyung, how's life? It's been a while since we talked." I laughed.

He chuckled. "Yup. It's kinda a bummer you being famous because we couldn't get to talk to you more often. But I think I should blame your beauty because that's what got you famous in the first place." He said as he put a strand of my hair back at my ear.

I just laughed knowing that my best friend never changed.

"You're crazy." I said chuckling.

He shook his head while smiling then our art teacher came in and started the lesson.

Jungkook's POV

Me and my hyungs are currently eating lunch when we noticed people keep on looking at their phone and some were whispering at each other.

We looked at each other confused when at the same time, our phones vibrated.

Yugyeom:
Guys! There are rumors spreading around the school. It just happened first class after snacks.

Seokjin:
We noticed people too.

Namjoon:
Yeah, what is it really?

Yuyeom shared a news:
Kyungsoo and Nayeon together at art class?? Kyungsoo flirting with the school campus crush!!

Jimin:
So that's what they are talking about the whole time.

Jungkook:
Where did you find that hyung?

Taehyung:
We don't know if it's true though.

Yugyeom:
The article was posted by one of the students in the same class.

Yoongi:
I heard Kyungsoo and Nayeon are close best friends together with Bambam. Maybe that's common for them to do.

Hoseok:
We don't know hyung. Maybe they really are a couple.

Seokjin:
No they aren't. I know if somebody's in a relationship or not alright?

Jimin:
But if they really are a couple, why isn't Nayeon posting anything about it? And neither is Kyungsoo.

I stopped looking at my phone and walked out.

Why am I feeling this way......

This feeling.... It's like you have been stabbed in the chest with multiple daggers.

I went to my usual spot when I spotted someone.

Nayeon....

"Nayeon?"

She looked at me.

She smiled but I know it was fake.

"Hey."

I squatted beside her.

"You can tell me if something's bothering you Nayeon. You can trust me to keep it to myself." I said attempting if she'll tell me.

She smiled but shook her head.

"Thanks Jungkook, I appreciate it. But, I think I'm okay." She then looked away and sighed.

I sighed. "You didn't like what came out don't you?" I asked.

She slowly nodded then wrapped her arms around her knees.

"We're just friends. I don't know what makes it so hard to make them believe that." She muttered.

Hearing those words made my heart calm. Now I confirm.......

I admire this girl beside me.....
