chapter 23: sorry

Jungkook's POV

Today, I already expect what will happen. Nayeon will ignore me. She will make excuses so that I can't confront her. What else would be new?

I went to my usual spot when I find a familiar figure. But.......

She was crying.....

"Nayeon?"

She then turned to me.

I felt sorry for her right now. Her eyes all puffy and red. She could have been crying for a while now.

"J-jungkook?" She said.

I squatted beside her. Just like Bambam said, she doesn't say it, but we all know that she needs comfort.

I grabbed her hand and hold it.

I noticed that the bunnies was also here. The white one and one of her babies were cuddling on her lap.

"What's wrong?" I asked her holding one of her hand.

Damn. My heart breaks when I see her cry.

She didn't say anything but she just leaned her head on my shoulder.

"I'm sorry." She said sniffing because of a runny nose due to long time of crying.

"I know I have been ignoring you
I'm sorry. I'm just..... Scared."

I paused. What does she mean by.... Scared?

"What do you mean?" I asked as the gray rabbit hopped on my lap.

"I can't tell you right now." She breathed.

I sighed.

Without thinking, I hugged her sideways. "I'm always here if you need me." I said.

"Thanks Jungkook. I need it." She said

I pity Nayeon's situation right now. She can't really tell me what made her scared but what I do know is that it really affected her so much.

We just stayed in that position.

"Jungkook, I need a favor." She said

"What is it"

"Don't leave me on 8 days." She said as she leaned more closer.

I'm confused of what she means by 8 days. Like, what's in 8 days?

I may be confused but I smiled happy now that she didn't ignored me. And I get to have the chance to hug her and hold her hand again.

"I promise"
