chapter 12: Emergency call

Nayeon's POV

When me and the stylists finished styling the guys, exactly it was time to rehearse.

They stood up. "Goodluck!" I smiled.

"Hey, your gonna watch us, right?" I turned to see Jungkook asked me.

I chuckled. "Of course, now you guys better not disappoint me."

He smiled then leave the room. "Will do Nayeon!" I heard Hoseok said.

Just as I exited the room, my phone rings. I quickly answered it knowing it was my mom from the caller ID.

"Mom?"

"Honey, your dad....." I heard mom sobbed which made me worried.

"W-what happened?"

"He is in the operation room right now. He's been there for like an hour already. He collapsed at the house......." Mom said.

I was in total shock. I ran towards the parking lot while still holding the phone on my ear. "Don't worry, I'm coming." I then hung up.

I started paddling my bicycle and drove as fast as I could but I made sure I'm still safe.

Looks like I'll be the one who'll disappoint you kook.....

Jungkook's POV

It was almost our turn but I still couldn't see Nayeon. She said she will watch.....

I seem not to focus that my hyungs noticed.

"Don't worry kookie, I'm sure she has a reason." Yoongi hyung said.

I smile and breathed.

Finally, the other band exited signalling it was our turn.

I inhaled.

Looks like I have to start without Nayeon watching.....

Nayeon's POV

I am already at the front of the hospital where my parents are.

I immediately asked the nurse about my dad and as soon as she gave the way to the room, I ran as fast I could.

When I arrived, I immediately saw my mom crying. I went and hugged her.

I didn't say anything but just comfort her.

God, please don't let anything happen to my dad.....

It took almost half an hour when I arrived before the doctor came out.

We stood up. "Doc? How is my husband?"

He sighed."We are so sorry, we did our best. He had a heart attack and also, we found our that he has an enlarged heart."

And with that cue, mom cried while I was speechless.

My tears want to fall off, but I don't want to cry......
