chapter 18: cheer up

Nayeon's POV

I was shocked at first that Jungkook was here. But I didn't opened the door.

But he knocked too much so I was forced to open.

"That's too much knock knock's" I said.

He chuckled.

We are currently at my bed, sitting beside each other.

"Care to tell me what happened?" He said breaking the silence between us.

I sighed. "His not the best friend I once knew." I said.

I felt him staring at me. "Kyungsoo?" I nodded.

"I treat him as a brother. But, he treats me more than a girl he likes." I said.

"What happened back there?" He asked.

"Well, he confessed and I told him I had no affection felt the same way he feels. After that, he stopped going to classes. Then he just showed up a while ago and asked me a question which made me run away." I said.

"What did he asked you?"

I looked up at him with sad eyes. I shook my head. "It doesn't matter. All that matters is that how could I change a person's attitude because I rejected him."

The next thing he did made me speechless.

He hugged me.

"Don't worry, I'm always here if you needed somebody to talk to."

His voice sounds so sincere that I couldn't help but hugged him back.

We stayed there in silence.

after that, we broke the hug.

He smiled at me.

"Cheer up! I'll make sure no one will hurt you."he said which made me chuckle.

" you're crazy." I shook my head.

"Crazy for you." He mumbled but I didn't heard it.

"What?"

"Nothing." He laughed.

After that, the rest came inside the room.

I did the same explaining to them. They comforted me and gave me words of wisdom which made me laugh.

And for that time....

I felt happy I have these guys to look after me.

And with that,

I cheer up.
