chapter 8: Bangtan Sonyeondan

Nayeon's POV

I woke hearing the argument of my parents downstairs.

I looked at the time. It was still 4 in the morning. My class always starts at 6.

But who cares? I want to get out of the house. I don't want to hear their fights.

I sighed. They might think I'm an idiot. I know they're falling out of love. But I'm scared they might end up thinking to get a divorce and leave me.

I did my morning routine and went downstairs. They seem to notice my presence because they stopped talking and they turn to look at me.

"Morning cupcake." Dad gave me a kiss on the head.

"Morning mom, dad."I greeted back.

We ate breakfast but there is a tension between my parents. So I ate my breakfast quickly and left the house.

I rode my bicycle to school while thinking of my parents.

They argue almost all the time. They are slowly falling out of love.

I sighed. Tears wants to fall down but I shrugged those tears away.

I entered the school but it was still very early. Only a few students are still here. I wanted to be alone so I went to the empty building.

But then, I heard someone called me from behind.

" Nayeon?" I turn around to see Jungkook with some guys.

I smiled. "Hi."

I looked at the guys and Jungkook must have seen it.

"Nayeon, these are my hyungs. Not actual hyungs. I'm in the band with them." He said.

I gave an oh look. I assume they are also the one who followed me after Jungkook.

He started introducing them one by one. From his introductions, they sound like they can be trusted.

"Well, it was nice meeting you guys." I smiled and bowed.

"What are you doing here so early Nayeon?" If I remembered it right, he is Taehyung.

"Um, I woke up early so I decided to come here earlier than before."I said not mentioning my parents were the reason I woke up early.

"oh, how about listening to our song?" Namjoon asked.

I smiled. "Sure."

After they sung, I was impressed.

"I wonder why you guys don't show it often on public. I mean, I saw you guys perform back then. But, why'd you stop?" I asked curiously.

"Well, we're quite scared they might not like it." Hoseok confessed.

I stood up. "Scared? I'm sure it'll be dope!" I said mentioning their song.

They laughed as I too.

"By the way, what is the name of your group?" I asked.

They looked at each other.

"Hello, Nayeon, we are Bangtan sonyeondan!"
