I release a short breath before entering the boat of Jericho, having decided to pay my friends a visit.

To pay my chosen family a visit.

When I reach where the others are, I can hear North's voice as she speaks to someone, who's back is turned to me. She says, "Ah, that must've been YN. He helps any deviant he can to get here and be free."

"Talking about me, are we?" I ask with a smirk, everyone moving to face me.

"YN!"
"Where have ya been?"
"Welcome back, YN!"
"It's great to see you again!"

I'm bombarded by all of their greetings and hugs, smiling at them as I take a step back.

"I've been busy, sorry," I apologize. "You know how my job can be."

They nod.

I look to the new guy, recognizing him, "Oh, hey, newbie! I remember you. Welcome to Jericho!"

"Thanks," he responds with a smile. "I'm Markus."

"YN," I reply with a nod, despite him already knowing my name from North.

We disperse a minute or so later, and I go to hangout with Josh and the boy who's lying on the floor.

Markus walks over and Josh notices, standing up to speak with him. "They threw him out when they didn't want him anymore. He was living on the streets before we brought him here."

"They'll all shut down if we don't find a way to help them..." Markus trails off.

"We need more supplies to save them," I mention, disheartened. "Everyone's too scared to leave Jericho to get them, though."

"To help them we need blue blood and biocomponents," Josh continues. "We salvage what we can from those who shut down...but there's never enough."

"So... How do they survive?"

"They won't. We're slowly dying out," Josh tells him sadly, kneeling down beside me again.

Markus thinks before walking off, going to have conversations with the others.

Time passes and I overhear Markus speaking, "Simon! I know where we can find spare parts. The CyberLife warehouses in Detroit Harbor, they have everything we need."

This peaks my interest and I stand, heading over to them with Josh not too far behind.

"The docks are guarded. We can't just walk in there and take what we want. Humans will never let us," Simon argues.

"Which is why we won't ask permission," Markus states.

"We don't have any weapons. And even if we did, none of us knows how to fight," Josh disputes.

"We can steal what we need without fighting," Markus retorts.

"We'll just get ourselves killed."
