"Think you could find a deviant among all the other androids in this place?" Hank questions.

"Deviants aren't easily detected," Connor responds, unsure.

"Ah, shit... There's gotta be some other way..."

"An eyewitness!" I exclaim quietly, having gotten an idea. "Somebody who saw her leaving the room."

"Good idea. I'm gonna go ask the manager a few questions about what he saw. You let me know if you think of anything," Hank tells us before walking out of the room.

We also head out, looking around for anyone who could've seen where she went.

Connor wanders off and calls me over a moment later, "Excuse me, YN. Can you come here for a second?"

"Yeah, sure," I reply and walk over. "What do you need? You find something?"

We're standing in front of an android in a tube, who's positioned almost directly in front of the room where the crime took place.

I think I know where this is going...

"Maybe... Can you rent this Traci?"

I fucking knew it.

"Seriously?" I ask, disgusted.

"Please, YN. Just trust me."

I hesitate, meeting his eyes before I let out a deep sigh, planting my hand on the screen. "Fine, I trust you. But you owe me for this."

He nods and the machine says, "Purchase confirmed. Eden Club wishes you a pleasant experience."

"That's thirty bucks I'll never get back," I mutter as the glass door opens.

"That's not going to look good on your expense account," Hank comments.

I gasp and twist around, "Jesus, Hank! When the hell did you get here?"

"Just now," he replies with a shrug. "What's goin' on here?"

"I dunno," I state as I face the girl again, since she's grabbing at me. "Ask Connor— please, lady, stop."

"Delighted to meet you. Follow me, I'll take you to your room," she purrs seductively, trying to pull me away.

"Uh, no- no thanks," I protest in disagreement, making sure I stay put.

"Ok, now what?" Hank asks and Connor grabs the Traci's arm. "Holy shit, Connor. What the hell are you doin'?"

I understand what's going on and answer, "He's probing her memory..."

"It saw something," he tells us after a moment, releasing her.

"What are you talkin' about? Saw, what?" Hank pushes.

"The deviant leave the room. A blue-haired Traci. Club policy is to wipe the androids' memory every two hours. We only have a few minutes if we wanna find another witness!"
