Chapter Thirty-one: Truth will out.

Shelly was always odd, and had been bestfriends with Stella since the age of 6, Stella and her related on a lot of levels with home life, things weren't good, Shelly has dark thoughts all the time, they wouldn't go away, it was like they were stuck in her skull.
"Hey Elle whatcha thinking about?" Elise asked breaking Shelly's thoughts,
"Nothing... I have to show you something Elise, Alf and Stella!" Shelly looked at them,
"Hey can I come?" Jake asked getting up with Elise and Stella,
"No I don't want you worrying about me!" Shelly smiled sweetly at Jake,
"Right that's it I'm coming!" Jake kissed Shelly softly on the cheek and wheeled her into another room, Stella, Elise and Alfredo were quite confused, they looked at eachother, in those looks held a while conversation, no-one knew why they were summoned,
"Alf shut the door behind you!" Shelly said seeing as he was the last one in,
"What happened?" Stella asked, Shelly rolled up one of her sleeves from her jumper, they revealed deep scars and some fresh cuts from that day,
"Oh my god! Elle? WHY?!" Jake looked at her concerned,
Stella rolled up her trouser leg, there was deep cuts and scars on her leg too,
"Oh my god! Stella?" Jake panicked,
"Stella, you do it too?!" Shelly asked,
"There are more on my thighs... I only do my legs, they're more coverable!" Stella looked around the room
"How come I've never noticed these Elle? Do you have any on your leg too?" Jake asked, the other two were speechless,
"Yeah, I do... Up my thighs though like right at the top where people don't usually see..." Shelly played with the wheel on her wheelchair,
"How come I don't notice these when...?" Jake asked,
"I keep them covered slightly, either with my hand or you have your eyes closed." Shelly said her voice monotone,
"I've been doing this ever since u fell in love with you!" Shelly looked at Jake,
"I do it because of my mum!" Stella said,
"Well now I do it because if the Justice Bringers!" Shelly saw Jake's hurt face as he was the cause of her pain and told him that,
"Same!" Stella looked at Elise who was looking at them both in utter astonishment,
"No! Why? This is mutalation! You are mutalating your body!" Elise advised them,
"But... Huh?" Alfredo looked confused and tilted his head slightly shifting his weight to his back foot,
"Shelly you need to stop!" Jake said looking at her, "Stella, you too!"
"It's addictive as fuck!" Shelly explained,
"It really is!" Stella argued,
"I don't give a fuck! You two are stopping!" Elise butted in for Jake,
"You... Wait?" Alfredo was utterly speechless,
"I will always love you guys! As friends but this behaviour!" Elise looked at them like they were babies,
"DO NOT BABY US!" Shelly yelled,
"Yeah we hate that!" Stella looked at them.
