Natsu's POV

I had an idea on how to help Lucy without taking her to my pack but it might be risky. I need to sneak out some medical supplies from the Healer den and bring them back to Lucy without leading anyone to her. "Stay here. I'll be back soon" I said and turned to leave. "Wait, where are you going?" she asked and I turned my head back to her. "I'm going to my pack to bring back some medical supplies so I can heal your wounds" I replied and then she looked a bit panicked. "I'm not going to bring anyone back with me. Don't worry" I replied and she sighed in relief. 'She must not fully trust me yet' I thought.

"Before I go, did you not have anyone to trust in the Outlands?" I asked. "In the Outlands, it's every wolf for themselves. Ngh. The wolves who do team up are only together for mutual benefit but any one of them could backstab the others in an instant. Argh. So, I have no choice to be wary of other wolves especially pack wolves who despise Rogues" she explained. "What about your family?" I asked. If she wasn't banished from a pack for murder then what happened to her family? She stayed quiet and looked away from me with teary eyes. I realised I brought up a touchy subject that she didn't want to talk about. "Sorry... I'll be back soon" I said before running back towards the pack with three of the rabbits I caught.

Once I arrived, I put the rabbits in the food den and then happened to bump into Frozen Butt on my way out. "What took you so long Flame Brain? Did it really take you almost all morning to catch three rabbits? Pfft, talk about pathetic" he chuckled. 'I can't tell him that I gave a Rogue seven of the rabbits I caught' I thought. "Those rabbits were faster and harder to catch today. What about you? What did you catch?" I retorted with a slight growl. "I caught three deer" he replied proudly with a smirk. "You mean you and Juvia caught three deer. You probably couldn't have taken them down without her" I teased and he growled. He looked ready for a fight but I just trotted away from him. I need to get the medical supplies to Lucy before nightfall or she might not survive the night. The injuries she had looked fatal if left unattended.

"Oi, where are you going Pinky?!" I heard Gray shout after me. "I don't have time to fight. I need to talk to Wendy about something" I replied as I trotted off towards the Healer den. Fairy Tail only has one healer and she's one of the two best Healers in Fiore. "Hey Natsu, are you alright?" Wendy asked as I walked inside the Healer den. "I'm alright, I was wondering what would you put on a bleeding scratch and/or bite?" I asked, as subtly as I could without arousing suspicion. "You mix Angelic Ivy with some Amura Berries into a paste and then apply it to the wound before putting a large leaf over it. Why did you want to know?" she asked, curiously.

'Think fast Natsu!' I thought and quickly came up with an excuse. "Ah, I wanted to know in case I ever got hurt and you weren't around to help, haha. By the way, I think you and the other Gatherers should get some more of them" I replied. "Why?" she asked, "you never know when we might need them. Like if another pack attacks us" I replied and she nodded. "Alright, I'll go with the others tomorrow to gather some more" she said. "Thanks Wendy" I replied, 'I need to think of a way to get Wendy away from the Healer den' I thought. "Oh, I think I saw Erza looking for you earlier" I said. "Oh ok, I'll go see her now. See ya Natsu!" she said as she ran out of the den. As soon as she was gone, I quickly gathered the Angelic Ivy and Amura Berries on a large leaf and picked it up in my teeth before running out of the den towards the forest.

As I ran, I made sure no one followed me before heading to where Lucy was. I put the medical supplies down next to her. "I've brought back the supplies. My pack's Healer told me how to treat your wounds" I told her before beginning to smash the Angelic Ivy and Amura Berries together with my paws. "Does he or she know about me?" Lucy asked, "no, Wendy's nice but she can't keep a secret" I replied. "Alright-argh!" she grimaced and breathed heavily. "Don't talk. Rest, I'll patch you up soon" I said and she closed her eyes.

Once I finished smashing, I smeared the purple coloured paste onto a large leaf I found nearby and then put it on the massive slash she had on her side. She winced in pain and I panicked. "Sorry! I didn't mean to hurt you!" I whined. "No, it's ok. It's starting to not hurt so much. Thanks Natsu" she smiled. I sighed in relief before treating the rest of her wounds.

When I was finished, she almost looked like a green mummy because of the number of wounds I had to treat. "There, all done" I said as I wiped the remaining paste off my paws on the grass. I then notice the sun was going to set soon. "I better get back to my pack but I'll come back tomorrow to check up on you" I told her. "Ok, thank you for all your help Natsu" she replied with a smile and I smiled back. "See you tomorrow Lucy" I said before running towards the pack. Luckily when I arrived, no one questioned where I was.
