*Lucia's POV*

"Governor made Rick an offer. Turn you over and we all give peace a chance. I agree with you though, he would have blinked," Merle said to Michonne while guiding us down a deserted street. He had both of us in front of him so he could make sure we wouldn't try to escape.

"But not you," she said back to him.

I was walking silently beside Michonne; too on guard to really pay attention to the two of them.

Merle scoffed at Michonnes words. "I'm being straight with 'ya."

Michonne got a dark look on her face as she looked at me. Her facial expressions clearly said, "this guy. Can you believe it?"

I held in a small laugh. Neither of us were scared of Merle. He was just doing what Rick had asked, and bringing me was not planned. He knew that Rick wouldn't be able to go through with it, but that the Governor would never leave us alone if he doesn't get Michonne.

"You were being straight when you led us into the tombs."

"Okay, maybe I wasn't straight."

"You put bags over our heads. Lucia shouldn't even be here!" Michonne was starting to get angry now. We haven't known each other for very long, but we connected really well.

"I got it done, he wouldn't have. He was a guy that came back for me on that rooftop. Nah. It's all on me. You know? I figured that's why I was back there in the first place. To do the dirty work."

I was the first person to hear the low growl of a lone walker. I looked to the side to see one of them walking towards us in a green trench coat.

Michonne and I locked eyes for a second. Our hands were still bound and Merle had our weapons on him. We were defenseless. The living man beside us started laughing a little bit and unsheathed Michonne's sword that was on his back.

"May I?" he asked with another laugh before turning and walking towards the walker.

"I'll take that as a yes."

Michonne and I just stared at Merle while he decapitated the walker and then stabbed the head.

Merle put the sword back in its place and turned to us, finally not laughing.

"I figured you two would have run," he said.

Both of us continued to look at him. I gave him an annoyed look and Michonne sarcastically smiled.

"We want our weapons back before we get away," I said to him monotonously.

He moved his gaze from Michonne and fixed it on me.

"It may go down that way, but I wouldn't get my hopes up."

He came back behind us and grabbed the string of wire holding us to him.

"Move."

I rolled my eyes and we were off again.

We walked for a while longer. Michonne and I occasionally looked at each other with annoyance towards the older man keeping us captive. Apart from his commentary every once in a while, it was pretty quiet. My head was still pounding from being knocked unconscious earlier, but aside from that, I'm fine.

"I want to be with my brother. My brother, he wants to be in the prison. The little trip... maybe it'll keep that place standing. If I pull it off, maybe all is forgiven."

Merle ran up a driveway to check out a car. From what I could see already, it had flat tires and it didn't look like it was going anywhere any time soon.
