Chapter 19 - Violence of the storm

AN: I cut this one down as we'd have ended up with two or three chapters worth of dialog and action. I still think this one ended up pretty good so without further ado enjoy.

Third POV Lambo's hospital room

With the soundtrack of the medical machines Nana is watching over Lambo worriedly, whilst holding I-Pin and clutching the note left by Iemetsu upset that a child has gotten hurt. When Iemetsu gets home he's getting such an earful from her, breaking her from her thought's Coco enters the room with Mukuro and Chikusa following. The two boys go and sit next to the wall after nodding respectfully to Nana, whilst Coco sits next to Nana giving her a gentle squeeze before speaking.

"Don't worry Nana; Lambo will be fine I've been told about what happened so you don't have to worry about that." (Coco)

"Coco chan... Iemetsu told me to just help Tsuna without asking questions." Nana shows the note "But I can't help but worry over them seeing Lambo chan like this." (Nana)

".... That Idiot, things will be fine Nana we have the strongest watching over them I promise." (Coco)

"Kufufufu indeed Nana san from what I was informed of the cow was hit by lightning one too many times, his injuries are from that and falling so I wouldn't worry he'll wake soon in a day or two. Right Chikusa?" (Mukuro)

"Indeed Mukuro sama." (Chikusa)

"Guys...." (Nana)

Nana smiles at them in thanks for trying to help just before Kyoko and Haru bust through the door in a panic.

MC POV Three Hours later

I'm walking to the school tonight with Chrome and Ken as he wanted to see a match, so I promised to alternate between them so we've come up with a switching routine. I'm not bringing Mukuro as knowing the state the school will be in the last thing we want, is to piss Kyoya off even further increasing the destruction of school property even further. The matches between the two are destructive enough, that the Roof and part of the third floor have been destroyed and that's without them being serious! Pissed off they've levelled the old factory district that was slated for redevelopment, we got lucky with that fight in that no one was around but elder Hibari still chewed us a new one.

"Ne Hime why's Mukuro watching over the cow Byon?" (Ken)

"Simple Ken I don't trust the Varia not to pull a fast one, that wasn't a match they were supposed to lose." (Aloy)

"EH!?" (Ken)

"Hime?" (Chrome)

"I pulled a gamble last night you two with that match, they didn't know about the bazooka which helped but I gambled on an extra thirty to forty seconds. That extra time of twenty year Lambo to give us a win, ten year Lambo wouldn't have been strong enough so rather than waste the time..." (Aloy)

"You got him to use it earlier.... Hime that's genius!" (Chrome)

Chrome looks at me with sparkles in her eyes whilst Ken looks at me confused, seriously how does he maintain his grades? He knows about the bazooka having seen it a few times with Bianchi chasing the end result! I sigh and look back towards the front seriously wondering how he and Ryohei maintain their grades with muscles for brains.

"We got lucky Chrome nothing more with that gamble as events could have still conspired for a loss, what's more the Varia won't like losing what should have been an easy match regardless of events. I can assure you they'll pull something in retaliation, which is why the two are there with Mama." (Aloy)
