If I had known training with Roarden would be this hard I never would have asked. For months I have been awakened at the but crack of dawn to work out. We start with a run through the island because Roarden says I need better stamina to out run attackers . The we spar with each other and I get my butt handed to me next we go into the metaphysical training . Some sirens have a call so strong the can use the power by talking. Roarden is trying to teach me and has offered himself up as a guinea pig. I am getting better at breaking my hold more subtly. Things are going good except Roarden still hasn't let me set foot off the island.

I can tell my mate is restless. Shes an American after all so hellbent on freedom. I refuse to let her go even if I have to exhaust her mentally and physically every day I will do it. At least until we complete our union and she is bound to me. I have had several of my kind try to negotiate a price for her but I will have none of that she will be mine.
