After being at Joel's house I came home. I wasn't really ready to see him but , it's going to happen at some point. I walked in and went to my room. As soon as I closed the door someone knocked. I opened it and saw Yadira. I missed her.
" um can we talk ?" She asked
I just pulled her in for a hug and closed the door. We both began to cry.
"I'm sorry i lied. I just didn't want to ruin your night you were happy." She sobbed
" shh it's okay." I said stroking her hair.
We both smiled and wiped our tears.
" My brother doesn't deserve you. You deserve way better." She said
" Joel said the same thing." I said
" Duh because he is better. I love my brother pero like I said before,I knew this would happen." She continued
" He kissed me today." I told her
" Why don't you go for it. I know you have a thing for him just give him a chance. Richard needs to watch and learn how to treat a girl." She said rolling her eyes. " you know I've always shipped you and Joel."
There was another knock at my door.
" come in ." He both said and it was Yashua
" dímelo." He said throwing himself on my bed " what's new ?"
" Shes thinking's of giving Joel a chance." Yadira answered
" wait homeboy Joel actually likes you ?" He asked in shock
" yes since like the first day he saw me."
I laughed at his facial expression.
" just go for it. He's a great guy not gonna lie. I warned Yashel he wasn't ready for all of this. He just proved me right. You need to be happy Vale." He said and Yadira nodded in agreement.
*next day *
Last night I didn't see Richard nor have I today. I'm glad yet , I'm concerned. He's usually around the house. It was already late so I decided to get in bed. I was almost asleep when I heard a knock at my door. I then heard it creek open followed by soft sobs. I turned on my lights and saw Richard. He closed the door behind and laid with me in my bed.
" Hey what's wrong?" I asked and he cried slightly harder. I've never seen him cry. Not only that , it looks like he's been crying for hours. He laid on my chest while I stroked his hair.
" Richard can you please tell me why your crying."
He then mumbled something but I couldn't hear.
" speak up." I said
" Yocelyn is pregnant." He said
I froze underneath him and I know he felt it.
" I don't know what to do Vale. No one knows. I needed you , your the only person I have slightly right now." He croaked
" Shh , look your going to be there for her and she's having the baby. She needs you right now Richard. You need to man up and deal with the consequences." I said and he nodded.
I stroked his hair some more and he fell asleep.

I woke up in her arms. I didn't want the moment to end. I actually told her the truth. I admired her beauty until she woke up.
" How are you feeling ?" She asked sitting up and letting me go.
" much better." I said looking away
"Look Vale , I'm truly sorry. I know doesn't really fix it but , I'm sorry." I said
" Look don't worry about me you need to worry about Yocelyn. Besides Joel is taking care of me." She said
