2 months later
Its really been two months. Two months without Valeria. I haven't spoken to her nor have I seen her. I know she spoke to my parents and that when she's ready she's welcome to work again. I think about her all the time. I mean she's the mother of my child. But , I need to let her be happy. As I said before I'm not ready.
I was going to be home alone because apparently everyone had plans. I mean it is Saturday so I understand.
" We'll be back late." Yashua stated and I just nodded.
My own siblings barely talk to me. As I was thinking my phone vibrated.

Your gender reveal party
So that's where everyone was going. Well , I guess I'm going too. I got up from the couch and began to get ready. As soon as I was done (pic above), I made my way to my destination. Was I nervous ? Yes , I was very nervous.
When arrived there was a lot of people than I had expected. Everything was beautiful. My eyes quickly landed on Valeria. She looked beautiful as always. She had a bump but , it wasn't huge. Valeria was literally glowing , she was so happy. I couldn't keep my eyes off her.
Did I make a mistake in coming ?
" What are you doing here ? Who told you ?" Yadira asked
" Don't you think I deserve to be here." I said looking at her. I then looked back up and her eyes were already on me. She saw me and she didn't seem to happy.

" okay who told him ?" I asked my friends
" wait he wasn't suppose to know ?" Erick asked and I rolled my eyes. I should've known.
" pendejo." Chris said hitting the back of his head.
" What am I going to do now ?" I asked Joel
" you will still reveal the gender alone. Unless you want to do it with him." He answered.
" to be nice we can do it together but , I'm not telling him. I told you I don't want to talk to him. I didn't even want to see him. I've been doing well." I said to Joel. Mind you the others are there listening.
" I'll tell him." Erick volunteered.
" you've done enough." I said to him laughing
" yo le digo el plan." Zabdiel said making his way over to him.
I watched as Zabdiel spoke to him all he did was nod his head. Once Zabdiel was done he sat in a corner on his phone. He didn't move until the reveal.

" Yashel!" I heard Yadira call out for me. I looked up and saw she was up front with Valeria. It was time for the reveal. She handed us both two tubes. Valeria still didn't look at me.
" we are going to count to three and then you guys twist these things." She said excitedly causing Valeria to smile.
There goes that beautiful smile.
" READY 1...2...3!"
I looked at Valeria in the eye for the first time in 2 months. She nodded and we twisted the tube. There was pink everywhere. It was a girl.
I open my arms and then quickly put them down when I saw she was hugging Joel. The boys came and congratulated me. Only Valeria knows how much I wanted a girl.
" She's going to be beautiful like her mommy."
I saw Joel talking to her stomach and she laughed.
" yo voy hacer su tío favorito." Erick began to argue already and I laughed
" we'll see." I answered.
I spent the rest of the party talking to the boys except Joel of course. Eventually everyone began to leave. But , I couldn't leave without at least us talking. It's been 2 months , I think it's time to talk. I made my way over to her and Joel.
" Can we talk ?" I asked. She looked at Joel and motioned for him to leave.
" it's a girl." She said smiling at her bump.
" what you just weren't going to invite me ? Well you didn't to my daughters gender reveal." I said to her
" You have to understand that I don't want to see you Richard." She still wasn't looking at me.
" Yes but , that's my daughter... OUR daughter. What, your just going to let Joel take all the credit." I spat. I was slightly annoyed.
" Here you go again jumping to conclusions." She said finally looking into my eyes and I swear in that moment I just wanted to touch her but , I couldn't.
" Joel and I aren't together. He's just been an amazing help... an amazing friend. This has nothing to do with him so don't bring him into our problems. This is about you and I Yashel. You cheated and I clearly didn't want to see you. I wasn't ready to see you but , you showed up." She said. " when I said I love you to you I meant it. You clearly didn't."
" Valeria I did too." I said
" Well you don't show it. Look Richard I am tired and I'm not about to do this with you can you please leave." She said to me and I just nodded.
" you can't just take me out of my daughters life tho." Was the last thing I said.
3 months later ( so total of 8 months )
I was currently at Yocelyn and Geoffrey's place. I was talking to Geoffrey about everything.
" Do you love her ?" He asked me
" more than anything." I answered
Then Yocleyn came with the baby.
" Mira que cosita más linda." I said and began to carry their daughter.
" it's time for her milk." Yocleyn stated
" I'll do it." I said and began to feed her. I stared at the baby in awe.
" It seems like your ready and you love her." Geoffrey said
I think I'm ready too. It's time I grow up and be there forever for the girls I love.
After leaving their house I went to pack a bag. I was gone for most of her pregnancy but , I wasn't going to miss anymore of it.
I needed to be with her now.
It seems like Richard is ready and has learned his lesson.
Will she take him back ?
What month should the baby be born ?
