The venue on the inside was beautiful as well. All the top designers and companies were here. The place had models everywhere. It was a classy and chill event. I was in awe , you know I love to keep up with trend.
" None of them compare to you." Joel said and I blushed for the 100th time in these past two hours.
" Thank you but, I'm going to use the bathroom."
I said to him and then warning the others.
After I came out of the bathroom I heard " Valeria Montes." It was from a voice I knew so well. There is no way. My heart began to race and my palms became sweaty. I turned around.
" Geoffrey?" I said in complete shock. (Picture above)
" That's me." He said smiling.
I stood there in disbelief. I was at lost for words. There stood my ex in front of me. He still looked so good I can't lie. Remember we broke up due to circumstances not because there was no love.
" You haven't changed one bit." He spoke up
" It's only been 2 years. What are you doing here ?" I asked getting to the point.
" Well when you left I somehow ending up working in a company in NY. I got promoted to manager and here i am. But, I'm actually interested in working with the Camachos." He spoke
I gulped.
" Do you know them ?" He asked
" Y-yea , Yes I actually work for them." I answered
" Look at you Val in the company." He smirked " Bueno , let me go find them. I'll let you get back to your people."
As soon as he disappeared I began to walk back to my friends. I once again had no words. For a few minutes I just stood there giving them company. Yadira just stared at me. I know she can tell something was wrong with me. I gave her a sign as to tell her that I would explain later. Then suddenly Yocelyn appeared. Yadira rolled her eyes and I laughed. She glared at me. I still don't see her problem. I grabbed Joel's face gently and gave him a slow yet, soft kiss right in front of her face.
" ustedes son locos!" Erick said and i laughed. Joel blushed. Richard looked at me and then looked away. Yes
" Guys , we have someone we'd like you to meet." Mr. Camacho spoke catching our attention.
" Meet Geoffrey Rojas." Ms. Camacho said and I instantly became tense again. Yadira looked at me and her eyes widen. Of course I showed her a picture of him. She's the only one who's actually seen him and knows his name. I looked over at Yocelyn who was practically drooling at the sight of him. But , his eyes were fixed on mine. Richard looked my way. Joel slipped his arm around my waist.
" These are my children Richard , Yashua , and Yadira. Also Valeria who's like our daughter." Mrs. Camacho said introducing us. I smiled I was flattered by it. But, little does she know that we know each other well. The three of them shook hands with him and then he turned to me.
" Valeria and I actually know each other." He said with a smirk. Richard once again looked my way. Christopher looked like he was about to say something but , Yadira hit the back of his head.
" Oh good , Geoffrey will be joining us in a few days ?" Mr.Camacho said
I tensed up again. This can't be happening. So he's going to stay in California, there's no way. I looked at him and he still had a smirk on his face. After the whole little introduction Yadira put me aside.
" Girl breathe." She said
" I don't know what I feel." I said
" Well your going to figure that out soon." She said
There has to be another reason on why he's here.
