Kaura did not know how to react to the information she had just received. At first she just sat there in shock without uttering a single word.

Poe was looking at her with an amused grin on his face.

"You're telling me... you know her?!" Kaura, said slowly.

You could practically see the gears turning in her head as she tried to process what Poe had told her.

"Yeah, I've met her." Poe nodded, with a snarky smile still painted on his face.

Kaura just looked at him with wide eyes, not knowing what to say.

"Would you like to meet her?" Poe asked.

It was very evident he was enjoying Kaura's reaction to finding out he knew Rey.

Kaura simply nodded. Poe chuckled.

"Well, she's at a resistance base on another planet." Poe said. "But I was going to send some trainees there soon, so I guess you can come along."

"Okay, sounds good." Kaura said leaning against the table. She was trying to act casual about the situation even though she was freaking out internally.

Kaura had been hoping for so long that this women called Rey was true and had little faith in the rumors the entire time. If Rey existed, and Jedi existed, then there was some hope left in the galaxy.

They both sat there in silence for a moment until Kaura spoke up again.

"So...what now?"

"Well, I would get you ready to go with the trainees, but you're..." Poe trailed off.

"I'm what?" Kaura said.

"You're... drunk."

"No, I'm not!" Kaura said defiantly. Poe just gave her a look and she sighed. "Okay, I am. But it's your fault." She whined.

"Sorry, I just thought you were someone who could hold your liquor." Poe teased her.

"I can!" Kaura insisted. "Just not whatever this is." She gestured to the now empty glasses on the table. Poe chuckled to himself.

"I'm sorry, I thought you were from around here." Poe said. "Good thing is, it's stronger, but it doesn't last as long. Let's just get some food on you, okay?"

Kaura nodded as Poe stood up from his seat. He pulled out some coins and left money for the drinks.

"I'll pay you back, I just don't have any of this planet's money on me." Kaura said quickly.

"Forget it." Poe said, shrugging it off.

Kaura stood up carefully and she could tell Poe was pretending not to notice how much she was struggling to protect her pride. She appreciated it.

They walked out of the cantina together and Poe lead her to the cafeteria on the resistance base. It wasn't a short walk so after awhile Kaura started stumbling a little bit as she walked. She tried to pretend like she wasn't, but Poe noticed pretty quickly.

"Do you need help?" Poe asked her finally.

"What are you talking about?" Kaura said, trying to act like she didn't realize she could barely stand up straight. Poe sighed.

"Here," he said putting an arm around her for support.

Kaura tried her best not to blush as she could feel how muscular his arm was. He's just trying to help you walk normally, Kaura reminded herself.

"Thanks." Kaura said quietly. It did help her walk better.

They walked in silence for a few moments before Poe spoke up.
